As I made my way up the stairs- yes, stairs: there was absolutely no way I was going in that metal box of death again- I realized my vision was starting to become a bit hazy. 'Huh... Maybe I should take a break?....' I hesitated for a moment on the staircase, considering it, but decided against it and shook my head. 'No. These people are important to Ema, I can tell... I have to do, this for her.'

Ema was pretty much my only connection back to my old life at the moment. 'Old life, huh? It feels really weird to say that, considering for me, that feels like only a couple days ago...' I shrugged the thought off to consider another time and started moving again, gradually making my way up the flight of stairs.

After about four more minutes of walking, my legs finally couldn't take it anymore. Slumping my back up against the wall, I heaved out a sigh and sank to the ground, hugging my legs to my chest and resting my head in my knees. 'How much farther until I reach his floor? Geez, why does this house have to be so big?!' I thought in frustration as I let my eyes close. For some reason, my eyelids felt unusually heavy. 'It's okay if I take a rest for a little bit....right?'

The moment the idea registered to me, however, I abruptly say back up, my strangely colored eyes flying open. "No! I have to...apologize to..," I spoke aloud, but my voice gradually faded off and my dreariness took ahold of me. 'No...I have to go help..Ema...apologize...Ema...to?... No, wait...'

"...Yuuske..." Was the last thing I was able to murmur out before my eyelids snapped closed and everything around me fell into darkness.

A/N: DONT GET MAD AT ME FOR MAKING THE CHAPTER SHORT, PLEASE JUST HEAR ME OUT!! Okay, so the next chapter will be solely about her remember some sad moments from her past. So please just bear with me, and don't kill me, @SeikaHisa!! ;~;

Also, I realize I have been using 'imminently' instead of 'immediately', but I'm just going to blame that on Auto Correct(my arch nemesis T^T).

I will try to make sure Auty doesn't make too much of a mess better from now on. ^w^
