"AAAARRRIIII-CHAAAANNN~" Juli's voice rang in her ears as he suddenly threw himself off Ema's shoulder, who looked up away from the tray of... Whatever she was making... In her hands in surprise. He than latches himself onto my head, diving his claws into the raven-black hair I'd just brushed in the bathroom before joining everyone else at the dinner table. "Let. Me. Protect. You."
"No. Way. In. Hell.." I muttered loud enough for only him to hear, and he scoffed in annoyance, flicking his tail.
"I'm telling you, these males are all wolves! Wolves, I tell you!!" At that, my eyes trailed off to land on that dumb blonde from earlier, and I sighed, rolling my eyes.
"I can handle myself, Juli. I don't need your help." I assured him, but suddenly another, new voice spoke up from behind him, surprising me and causing me to jump. Juli, on the other hand, had his fur flattened as he stared calmly at the newcomer, so I assumed it wasn't a threat and slowly turned around to warily gaze up.
"You should...let...Juli stay with...you..." A boy with strawberry hair a bit darker than Wataru's said kindly, his eyes practically sparkling with sincerity. "He's...only worried..."
"Oh, it's just you, Louis-sama!" Juli said with relief as I gave the boy a wary look. Then, out of the blue, I felt a bit childish and opened my mouth to snap a retort back at the male, but suddenly his orbs widened, as if he'd just realized something for the first time. His expression shut me up right away and I snapped my mouth shut.
"Wha--what is i-it?" I asked cautiously, taking a ginger step backward. It seemed the others hadn't quite noticed us yet.
"Your hair... It's...Beautiful!" He suddenly burst out joyously, reaching out and taking my raven-haired locks in one hands, the strands of jet black hair slipping through his fingers with ease. "Cascading down over your shoulders like a majestic ocean of black waves! You must let me do your hair for you!"
"O-okay..." Still taken aback by his sudden outburst, I stuttered, and he seemed to noticed my nervousness for the first time. His eyes softened as he pulled away, giving me an apologetic smile. "Sorry about...that..." 'Louis-sama' said, back to his usual slow way of speaking. 'More like sloth-sama, yeesh!' I nodded and the three of us- Louis, Juli and I- walked over to the table.
Ema was setting the food down about the table, while a man who looked to be in his twenties with blonde hair not unlike Kaname's and blue eyes passed out plates. Already sitting out the table was Wataru- who was smiling brightly as if our little argument earlier never happened- and a boy with gray eyes and gray hair to match who looked up me with a shocked expression. There were also two others: one with red hair and wide crimson eyes, and another with gray hair a shade or two lighter than the other boy's, who was wearing his school uniform, even though it was dinner. In a way, he sort of reminded of a prince.
"Ukyo, who is this?" The 'prince' spoke up first, his lips turning up into a polite smile while the other two just stared at me, gaping like idiots. I inwardly smirked at how stupid they looked. 'Ha! They are blinded my beauty! >:D' Wataru just continued to eat happily, occasionally praising Ema for her cooking, who blushed and thanked him in response. 'Airhead...' I thought with amusement as I watched her, daring a glance past the others. She may not be very bright when it came to the things around her, but I still loved her all the same.
"This would be Ari-chan... I mentioned that Ema had a friend that was cooped up in the hospital for a few years, did I not?" The four-eyed blonde I assumed was Ukyo responded, flashing me a pearly-toothed smile, which I kindly responded with one of my own. 'At least these two are polite.' I turned back to look at the other boys. The prince guy was nodding while the redhead just stuttered and the gray haired boy looked away, blushing. 'Aww, he's kinda cute... >////< WAIT, NO! Stop, it Ari! These are your brothers now!' Mentally slapping myself for allowing the thought to even cross my mind, a light pink dusted my own cheeks as well.
Eventually I ended up sitting between Louis and Ema and across from that prince guy that I'm pretty sure Louis-sama identified as 'Iori'... Oh! Speaking of which, Louis gave me a list of all the brothers in order from first born to last born, and as I tried to wrap my mind around all of the names and new information, I didn't even notice Ema tying to talk to me.
'Redhead, Yuuske.. Doctor, Masaomi... Louis, hairdresser, hipster guy... Wataru, the youngest... Subaru, basketball player...(A/N: Isn't that a car company? ^w^)(Shuddap Author-Chan I'm busy telling my story, here! T^T)
As I began to beat Author-chan at the argument going on inside 'le other world'(A/N: WHAT YOU WERE SOOO NOT WINNING!!) and ignoring all her nonsense(A/N: HEY STAPH IGNORING ME!), I then- "Wait, Author-chan, why are you here?!" I scream in outrage, leaping out of seat as she suddenly pauses the story and all the other characters in it to scold me.

(Me: Okay, sorry about that, Ari-chan got a bit out of hand there... *glares at her*)
(Ari: *Grumbles under her breath and walks away as Author unpauses the story*)

As I plop back down in my seat, grumbling, everybody suddenly whips their heads around to look at me, shocked expressions on their faces."Ari-chan, are you okay?" Ema asks with concern in her big brown eyes as I sigh and roll my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest.
"Don't worry, it's nothing, really." I assure her. She doesn't look very convinced, but lets it go and eventually everyone goes back to eating.
After a while, someone finally speaks up. "S-s-so A-Ar-ri is our si-ist-ter now, t-too, huh?" The redhead says, clearly flustered. Although he tried to hide it, I could easily identify the beet red blush his cheeks had taken on. Noticing it, I giggled a bit, and he whipped his head around to glare at me. "H-hey, d-do-on't la-laugh at me!" He said in an irritated tone, but it only worked to double my laughter and after a moment everyone was chuckling- although some were quieter than others- except the redhead, who looked even more embarrassed than before.
"I'm sorry!" I said, flashing him an apologetic smile once I had finally calmed down. "You just looked so Kawaii, blushing like that!"
"I was not blushing!" Yuusuke barked angrily, glaring daggers at me, but now it was Wataru's turn to burst into a series of giggles. "She's right, you know, Yuuske-kun!" The strawberry haired boy said with a grin as an irk mark appeared on his brother's forehead.
"Wha-whatever..." He grumbled, pushing back in his seat and standing up.
"H-hey, where are you going?" I called out frantically, starting to regret my choices as the redhead stormed off toward the stairs.
"None of your business!" My brother snapped irritably over his shoulder before charging up the stairs and disappearing from view.
After a moment of awkward silence, I finally couldn't take it anymore, and stood up. "I'm going after him." "Ari, I don think that's a good-" Ema began, standing up as well, but I cut her off, shaking my head. "No, this is my fault. I have to apologize." I said sternly as my best friend sagged her shoulders and nodded grimly. "A-all right.."
I was going to fix this... After all, we were family now, right?
'No. We are never going to be family...'''Mom, dad, hurry up and come get me...'
That's right. No way could I get too comfortable here. I already have a family, and they... They're coming for me.
'Right?'
