"Please... I don't want to remember!" The raven haired girl pleaded, unable to tare her eyes away from the woman's orbs as lilac purple clashed with azure blue. Tears streamed down her flushed cheeks and her eyes were red from the downfall. "Don't make me remember," She begged again as the blonde woman gazed upwards at her with dully, without emotion. Despite her pleas, the woman remained silent, not a word escaping her thin pink lips.
Ari hovered overtop of her mother, reaching out with one trembling, ghostly pale hand and grasping a handful of the woman's jet black hair, not unlike her own. The strands slipped gracefully through her fingers, like a sea of dark waves dancing in the streams of moonlight that sneaked through the clouds.
"Mom..." Ari spoke in a raspy voice, her normally silvery voice breaking as she choked back a sob. She let her hand fall to her side and her lips trembled as she reached out with one hand to trace her mother's jawline. "No, mommy..." She continued, her voice practically dripping with her grief, "Please, mommy, don't leave me all alone..."

Ari sat upright, gasping for air and instinctively throwing her arms out in front of her in hopes of steadying herself. She felt her hands make contact with fabric and grabbed fistfuls, leaning forward and latching onto the figure. Pressing herself up against them, she buried her face in their chest, choking back a sob as she noticed the sticky hot tears that streaked down her face for the first time.
"I don't want to remember...I don't want to remember...I don't...I don't want to...""A-Ari?!" A voice exclaimed; harsh, flustered and familiar. Ari's head shot up at the mention of her name and she stared upwards, stunned, as her gaze settled on the face of the person she was holding on to. Brown crashed with lilac purple as their gazes collided, Ari taking in Yusuke's flustered, scarlet red face and the redhead taking in her surprised one.
A rosy pink crept onto her cheeks as realization dawned on her. She pushed away from him, scrambling backwards- only to tumble backwards and land awkwardly on the polished, hardwood floors. Her head shot up once again as she whipped to side to side, attempting to wrap her mind around what had happened. "H-how'd I get here?"
