After we've caught wind of the horrible incident dubbed as the Beret Genocide. We again went to the Presentation Area. The Dathu was there along with my Baii discussing about this matter. He told us that nothing is to fear and Sallet will have it's security doubled to ensure everyone's safety. Everyone was also advised to remained in close proximity to the Commune. No one is to interact with other Communes until further instructiong from the High Treaty were given. Everyone was talking about it. Apperently, no one did survive. The Dathu there was no where to be found but believed to have suffered the same fate. Some bodies were found to be dried and grotesque. I wanted to learn more. Curiosity is ever my enemy. But I've more important matters to attend to.

His Taming is about to start.....

Back at the Cellyard, the Elven was held captive under tight security. They know who they are dealing with. The saw what it is capable of. They are not take any other chances. Within minutes, two burly, big man equipped with whips, muzzles, tasers, rackets and just about any torture device came within the Cellyard. They were the Tamers. Sapirs paid to subdue beasts into quiet, powerless drones.

"Where's the mutton?"

"Over there, sires. I have to warn you though, it's a fighter."

"Please, we were made for this."

Yourhia had just come in time before the inhuman task had begun. She saw the two Tamers along with Xanaehla and some maids. She knew what she was about to do will get her in bad mood with her Baii. But she did not care. She was not afraid anymore, she was used to it. As she approached, she asked herself why was she doing this to someone she had just met. She acts like she had seen him before, who know when. She may be moved because of pity, as a way of rebelling against this tyranny, but whatever it was, she knew it was the right thing...

"Oh hurhe, there you are. You're just in time! You're ggoing to enjoy this."

"About that, uhmm, my Baii, isn't this too brutal an act?"

"What are you talking about? Creatures like him need to know who's boss, and that's me!"

"But look at him, isn't he just as Sapir as the rest of us?"

"Ma'am, do not address the beast as a 'he'."

"Yourhia, shut your mouth and get in there or would you like to experience first-hand what the Taming is about?!"

"........................Yes, Xanaehla."

The party entered the Cellyard. The room was quite dark, even with valouses on.  Cages were lined from left to right. No other Cryptids were there, all have been retired. The Elven's cage was at the very end, behind a portal guarded by Warriors.

Inside the room, a cylindrical cage could be seen. It was filled with hay, and was quite large. This is were Xanaehla's new pet would reside. The Elven was already held captive. Warriors were seen with gashes, bite marks, scratches and swollen eyes, indicating the Elven put up a fight.

Upon seeing the Sapirs, the Elven hissed and growled, especially at seeing the two burly men and the dark-blue haired girl. But the one with purple eyes and chocolate-brown hair, he could not feel any hatred towards her. It was odd, but he can feel sadness, purity, and security.

"Alright, let's get this started."

"Let's enjoy this."

The Tamers wasted no time in entering the cage. The Elven stanced. As if like wond, the Elven lunged at one of the men. He was biting, slashing, doing anything to keep them at bay. The Elven was already weak due to hunger and stress, so he did not know that the men were prepared for this resiliency. They were wearing mithril armor. The other Tamer proceeded in zapping him with a taser. He winced. The man finally subdued him. One was lashing his whip on his back. He screeched at every blow. His motuh was bloody and his body slowly failing. The men decided to have fun. They hog-tied him, and with their tasers, proceeded in shocking him. The Elven jerked on all directions and whimpered. The Tamers enjoyed this, sadistic in nature. They were not done. One pulled his ringlets and force-fed him Acidite. It was not real acid, but the burning sensation was enough to punish you. The Elven choked, vomitted and spewed out the Acidite and his blood. The men were surprised thatit was still going. One went back to whipping while the other continued in feeding him Acidite. The were systematically breaking him down, weakening him, teaching him the hard way who to obey and please. The were taming him.

I could not stomach any of this barbaric acts anymore. The poor young man. The Acidite tore me mentally. Enough was enough. I did not realize I was already leaking in my eyes. I glanced around. How could anyone look so calm like nothing was happening?! I stood up to stop this, but Xanaehla gave me a stare of death. I knew I was to sit down again. I was so powerless. The boy was just resisting anything that was thrown at him. Deep inside, I wished he would just give up. Not because I want to see him defeated, but for this torture to stop. I heard his gurgling whimpers, the hard sound of the whip meeting flesh, the laughter of the Tamers. IT WAS ALL ENOUGH!!!!

"Hey get up, it's over." Said one of the maids.

"Huh?"

"The Baii is waiting for you in the cell."

I hurriedly entered the cage. I saw tricklets of blood splashedcarelessly on the hay and cold floor. I looked at him, and he was just curled up in the corned, burnt mouth and battered body. Xanaehla was talking to the two Tamers. I wanted to be angry at them, but I just cannot. I dashed towards them.

"He should be no problem now."

"What was the Acidite for anyway?"

"Don't worry, it will just burn his vocal chords. That way, he won't make much a noise. The bruises will heal, so it's no big deal."

*NO BIG DEAL?! How could drinking something as burning as flames be NOT A BIG DEAL?!*

"Oh, she's take care of that."

Xanaehla pointed at me with a sly grin. I nodded.

"Oh by the way, since you're now his caretaker, I'll give you the honor of naming him. Just let me know what it is."

"Why?"

"What, oyu don't want me being nice and all?"

She pushed me hard. I fell down with a hard thump just inches away from the Elven.

"It's tiring to think of a name. You do it. Besides you're weird anyway, easier for you to think of a decent name for this magnificent creature."

"Yes, my Baii."

With that, they all went outside. The Tamers gave me instructions on how to interact with him, what and when to feed him, to bathe him, and even what clothing to give him. I just nodded. I wanted to make sure he was alive. When they too departed, I scurried over to him. His eyes were closed, but I felt a pulse. He was alive, to my relief. It was odd, even in this battered state, he was still captivating, alluring. I felt a sudden burst of sadness and pity for this boy. His freedom was taken away from him, treated like a common household pet now. I must cure his wounds immediately. But first I must prepare food for him, too. As bad as it may seem, I was glad that I was ordered to care for him. That way, I am certain that he will be in good hands. I felt warm on my cheeks, I became flustered. What on earth was happening to me?! The hay were floating now, my power flicking on again. Fortunate that no one was around and the Elven was asleep, I quickly dismissed my telepathic episode. I am still baffled by this string of events. It will take some time to piece them all together. What has this place gone to? Genocides, torturing, territorial squalls, and the like. I wished that I was to make a difference, and not just a passerby on this. I wanted to redeem myself and my family's name.

"Hunnnn---hnnnnnnnn, errrr....."

The Elven was already feeling the effects of the brutality. I have to mend him quickly if I want him to survive.

"Do not worry, I will take care of you. No one will harm you no more, even Xanaehla. I'll be here for you....."

"Alalkhai..."
