4 ways to get your diet started!
1. Know Your Weight Loss Goals
You want to begin by knowing how much you want to lose, before you decide on how to do it. If you need to lose 50 pounds and set a goal of losing that amount of weight in one month, you are setting yourself up for failure. Set attainable goals you can meet and feel good about.
If you're slightly or moderately overweight. I advise controlling portion size, If you control portion size, you cut calories.
2. Exercise
also has to be part of your plan, i know its tiring and boring! But that doesn't necessarily mean joining a gym. Buy a cheap treadmill,and when you're watching TV, hop on and take a walk.
Before starting a new exercise or weight loss plan, however, remember to talk with your doctor.
3. Begin A Weight Loss Journal
Research supports the benefit of keeping a journal during the weight loss process, found that people who recorded their food consumption lost more weight than the participants who were less diligent. Search through your smartphone app to find a journal app you like, use an online journal, or choose a paper journal. Keep track of your food and calories and log your exercise minutes.
4. Bring Your Own Lunch.
Skip the fast food restaurant, and bring your own lunch! Eating four servings of vegetables a day, and avoiding fried food. Good first changes include switching out high calorie beverages for zero calorie options.
