Korra took a step, fell, got up, and repeated. She had just been attacked by a dog again, and had formed a new fear for the animals. Anyway, the dog nearly tore her leg off, and Korra could barely stay conscious. Eventually she just gave up, and lay down on her chest. But of course, another dog came around. A German Shepard. Of course, it had to be a big one. Korra got to her knees, not wanting to give up right now. A year ago, her back had been ripped open, and a day ago, her back had the same treatment. And now, she'll probably die from another dog. But she wasn't going to allow it. In the past year, Korra had learned earth bending, and it was about to save her life. Korra lifted her hands, and clapped them together. In the meanwhile, the earth around the dog raised, and smashed over it. The rock crumbled, and fell on top of the dog. It didn't die though, but Korra saw something. A look of desperation in the dogs eyes. Pleading.
But she couldn't save it. An ice shard went through its eye, but not one of Korra's. Korra turned around to see a young man in a mask. She was confused, but then she fainted. It was sudden, and Korra couldn't remember anything when she woke up. But she was in horrible pain, and her rags were ripped more than normal. She looked for the dog, but realized that she was in a cell, with chains around her ankles and wrists. She would have thought that she was dead, but Heaven wasn't this cold, and Hell wasn't this cold either. Korra tried to get up, but struggled just to get to her wounded knees.
Korra eventually gave up and just lay down on the cold floor. But a few seconds later the man in the mask walked in, walking to a wall with multiple torture weapons on it. He picked up a simple knife, and looked back at Korra. "I don't want to kill you, but it's gonna happen sooner or later. This knife," he motioned to the knife as he spoke, "will be my weapon to get information out of you. Now, you will tell me about what you know of the Sato family," he said, running the knife along Korra's cheek, creating a cut.
"I know that they have a daughter," Korra said, ending there.
"That's not enough!" The man in the mask jabbed the knife into Korra's stomach as she screamed in pain. Now Korra was sweating and breathing heavily, barely able to keep her eyes open with the knife still lodged in her stomach. "Tell me more," he whispered next to Korra's ear.
"They don't bend," Korra said through her teeth, trying to stay awake while the man grabbed a longer knife.
"More. That's still not enough, Korra," he said.
Korra remembered something. "Why should I tell you what you want to know if I don't even know your name?"
"My name," the man said, "is Amon," he finished, creating a cut on the side of Korra's neck. That was five years ago.
Korra smiled as Asami said her name. She remembered. "Sorry about your mansion. I use to love it there," Korra apologized. "Use to," she whispered, feeling the scar on her stomach, and frowning.
"I'm so sorry about my father," Asami said, hugging around Korra's shoulder. The others in the room looked at the duo.
"Get a room!" One of the men shouted.
Korra glared, and walked to him, death in her eyes. "I'll get a room," she said out loud, then whispered in . "And you might survive in it, if you're lucky,"she whispered threateningly. The man drew back in fear, and Korra smirked, walking away.
"What did you say to him?" Asami looped her arm in Korra's, following her as she walked out into the hallway.
"That doesn't matter right now," Korra smiled her devil smile, but didn't let Asami see.
"Boss!"
Korra looked as one of her workers ran towards her, a note in his hand. "What?"
"There was a body found in the mansion," he started. "By the cops," he finished, handing Korra the note.
'The Sato mansion was engulfed in flames May 8, 2012. The daughter, Miss Asami Sato, was being carried away by suspicious characters. She was unconscious. Three characters were also seen fleeing the scene by rooftop. Hiroshi Sato, CEO of Future Industries, was found uninjured on the scene of the fire. Police are unsure of how the fire was started, but they are still looking into it. Now the weather.'
Korra wrapped the paper up, and tossed it to the man who handed it to her. Asami looped her arm back through Korra's, and leaned her head on Korra's. "Alert the others that I have business to attend to, and that only updates on the fire and important information will reach me. Other notifications will go straight to Mako. And do us all a favor, and say that I'm in a bad mood," Korra said, grinning at Asami.
"But Boss. What if blues come?"
"If the blues come, then get both me and Mako. I'll be in the security office," Korra walked away, Asami right next to her.
"What's in the security office?" Asami raised an eyebrow.
"Police cameras, calls, surveillance, secret microphones attached to the blues, things like that," Korra answered.
"Why do you need to go fhere?"
"It's my job to make sure that the blues didn't see our faces. Me and my bros didn't have our helmets on, so it's extremely important now," Korra explained, walking confidently and strictly past a group of her workers. They rushed past her, and Asami.
"Can we go somewhere before you go to the security office?"
"Where?"
"Your office?"
