CHAPTER FIVE

RISE'S POV

"Rise Vali Jeon, right?" He clarified.

I nodded, "Yes, but just call me Rise"

"So this is your place" Taehyung cheekily smiled at me as he pointed the another cash register besides him.

"Thanks" I smiled at him. "Good Luck" He said, giving me his fighting gesture. He's a cheerful one, like Luhan..

Wait, did I just think of Luhan? No no no no! No way!!

"Why are you shaking your head?" Taehyung suddenly let me back to my senses. I stopped and looked at him. "Am I?" I asked.. "You okay?"

"Taehyung-ah!!!" Suddenly my first customer, greeted Taehyung. Maybe he's his friend. "Oh? Jungkook-ah!"

Together, they made a bro-fist. "Oh, so you already have a partner" Jungkook said as he smiled at me. "Yeah, and guess what" Taehyung wiggled his brows. "What is it?" Jungkook put his hands on the cash register.

Taehyung cupped his chin, pouting. "You have the same surname. you might be a blood-related" He shrugged his shoulder. "Oh, really?" Jungkook said in surprised.

"Well, It can be because look! she's beautiful and I am handsome." He raised his hands beside his shoulder.

"Idiot" Taehyung narrowed his sight at the Jungkook guy. "Truth hurts" Jungkook shrugged his shoulder. "Whatever. Just do buy the food you want to and go" Taehyung said.

"Rise?" Suddenly Jungkook called me, pointing out the name tag on my shirt. Oh yeah, great I almost forgot having my name tag..

"Nice to meet you" He smiled at me, so did I.

Taehyung told me that, Jungkook was the youngest in their group of friends. I asked him where do they study, and I knew that we are just in one school. Hmmm, I can't see all the students in our school just in one day.

And he also said that they are in the other building which is a little bit far away from us..

LUHAN'S POV

As soon as they heard about Dad having his dinner here in our house. Dad rarely visit us, because he's a busy man.

Kyungsoo immediately cook for our dinner, he has the skill of a good chef. His cooking is really great.

We hurriedly clean the house, what do you think of a twelve boys living in a one big house only? At least, it's not really a mess like as if a typhoon passed by. It's because with the help of our eldest, Xiumin hyung who is rigorous to dirts.

"How many times do I have to tell you all, to put all those things where it was everytime you get it?!" He heaved a sigh in disbelief. "Well, I put it back where it was, hyung" Chen said, grinning.

"You'll be a great philosopher in the near future, my dongsaeng! I am very proud of you." Xiumin hyung sarcastically said, as he patted Chen's back.

"Thanks" Chen smiled.

"You Moron!" Xiumin hyung exclaimed, as he hit Chen's head, which Chen winced in pain. "Hyung! That hurts!"

"Well, you deserve that, idiot" Xiumin hissed. And us, suddenly bursted into laughter.

"Just arrange it, quickly!" Xiumin hyung said.

Time flies, and we were all a lil bit tired. Dad had just arrived from his busy work. It's already 8pm in the evening, we are having our family dinner. Well, you might also ask where is our mother. Let's just say she's also a busy woman and got divorced with our father, but I know they do still love each other. I don't really understand the reasons of adults.

"So, how's school, grand children of Lucifer?" Dad immediately chuckled.

"Burn!!" Kris reacted, chuckling. Dad winked at him.

"just fine and boring" Chanyeol said, pouting. "Then eat when you are bored." Dad smiled.

"We're maintaining our beach body, Dad. Just please" Kai suddenly let out a sigh. "As if you'll be going to a beach party this next days. Duh! Never!" Dad said, annoyingly. We just didn't deign to speak at him. There's no sense arguing with him.

"By the way, your Mum called. She'll be here for a week and I don't when will it be" Dad, lopsided smile.

"Is that supposed to be a surprise?" Suho said. "Yup, you're really a smart one, Suho" Dad winked at him.

"You must not have inform us,Dad. It's not already a surprise even though when it will be" We shook our head in disbelief. "We can still be ready" Kai added.

Ugh, Dad. Sometimes, I don't know where did Lucifer put your brain.

"whatever! It's still a surprise" Dad just stuck his tongue out at us. "Burn!" Kris reacted again. "Kris, can you just stop saying that word" Dad's reaction be like '😒'

"Ow and by the way. Can someone please tell your Uncle Eren that I want to refer someone that will apply to their school as a Physical Education Teacher. Okay? Just inform your uncle" Dad said. "Okay" We unisonly said.

Hours passed and all of us, except Dad cleaned up everything on the table. Dad went early to his bed. He decided to sleep here in the house.

"Just call me if you need something" Dad said before he headed his way to the master room.

RISE'S POV

It's already 10 in the evening, we don't have so much customers for tonight. I took a rest for a while under the cash register. "You can have a break, if you want" Taehyung said, smilingly.

"Sure, thanks" I said.

When I heard the ring of the bell on our main entrance, I immediately stood up and greeted.. "Welcome!"

My eyes widened as my lips parted with surprised.

For the love of mother and child?!

"Taehyung, I'm just going to get something in my locker" I forced to smile at him. "Sure" He replied.

I went to the locker, and don't know what to do. How about I'll make food for Taehyung. Well, so we can have a good acquaintance? Urgh! What am I thinking. Argggghhhhhhhhhh!

Ohmygahd! Help me!

I was just behind the walls between, tried to sneak if they are still here. When I fell back, I did bumped onto a table with a nail on it and unfortunately, my right hand had a cut. I winced in pain, quietly.

When I was about to lick it.
