CHAPTER FOUR

LUHAN'S POV

“I would want you to be the participants this upcoming quiz ball in inter-high” Mrs. Han informed us.

“Just choose someone else, Mrs. Han” I told her. Well, I have my soccer game that time. I can't divide my time and in fact, I love soccer than that.

“You have no choice but to join. I don't have any options anymore” Mrs. Han said.

“Excuse me, Mrs. Han. Of all the students here but why me and especially Luhan?” Rise was too curious, but she really did emphasize the word 'especially'. That kinda hurts. Ouch~

Ha! She may not know, probably that I have a great capabilities.

“As I saw your documents, Mrs. Jeon you have high grades and your IQ is 130.” Mrs. Han said. My eyes widened. “You're a smart one, little girl” I told Rise and she just rolled her eyeballs towards me. K, fine!

I cleared my throat, loudly. “How about my, brother Suho?” I suggested. Well, Suho has a smart brain. “He can't” Mrs. Han said.

“And why?” I raised a brow. “He just can't that's all” Mrs. Han exclaimed with annoyance in her voice which made us cringed.

“Are we done here?” She raised her brows towards us. Rise just nodded but I didn't, cuz I really don't like.

“If you are thinking about your soccer game. I will talk to your coach and I'll do my very best to let you out” Mrs. Han threatened me. Ugh! This filthy norm-blood! How dare..... Ugh! Seriously?.

“Fine! But don't put the blame on me after, if we'll lose” I said. “Don't worry Mrs. Han. We'll not going to lose this competition” Rise said with a great surety in her voice. A frustrated grunt left from my lips. “Seriously?” I uttered with an effort and she just nodded.

“I'm looking forward to that, Ms. Jeon” Mrs. Han winked at her. “We will do our best” Rise said with an assurance. “You might just eat your words, Ms. Jeon” A thin line formed on my lips.

“Can we go now, Mrs. Han?” Rise asked and Mrs. Han let us.

As we were about to leave the place, Mrs. Han told us that we still need to focus on our prelim exams, because they are just around the corner.

As we were walking away from the office. “Are you serious?” I exclaimed. “Ish” Rise smirked and now she's smirking at me. I put my hands on my pants' pocket while we were walking. “You shouldn't have said that” I said.

“If I didn't say that, we would be probably still there up until now. Which I know, you really don't want.” She said. I stopped of what she said. She has a big point for that.

Rise also stopped as I stopped. “Why did you stop. Let's go” She said.

“You're really such a clever one” I lopsided smile. “I'm not” and now, she's trying to be humble. Hahaha! That's cute~

She continued her walking, while I am not I was just looking behind her. She never turned back at me.

Should I freaked her out? Let's try! Hahahaha.

“Rise!” I called her and before she was about to turn around. In just a blink of an eye. I appeared at her back.

“Lu--” She was cut off and her eyes widened.

She was startled a little bit as I was just inches closer to her.

“You were....”

“Did you run?”

“But? Woah” Her mouth parted with too much confusion.

“You're freaking me out!” She flinched.

I went besides her. “Let's go, I have a dinner to keep” I lopsided smile.

RISE'S POV

“Dinner with your girl?” I raised a brow. “Nope” He answered popping the 'p'. “You're really a big fat liar” I hissed.

“I am not.” He said and I just raised my brow at him.

“Okay..” He took a deep breath.

I looked at him straight into his eyes. Something'a weird when I stared into his eyes. I immediately averted my gaze.

“first, I am not fat” He smiled lopsidedly while he raised his thumb infront of my face.

“second, I am not lying, right now.” an d he added as he raised his point finger together with his thumb.

“and lastly, it's with my father and my brothers” He winked as he added his midfinger.

“Savvey?” He wiggled his brows towards me. “Whatever” I rolled my eyeballs..

As soon as we arrived in the school gate, we immediately separated ways and he bid his goodbye.

I hurriedly get back home and change my clothes. After that, I immediately went to convenience store near in my house, where I do my part time job. Well, even I am a student it is my way to serve people as the daughter of my father.

As soon as I arrived in the said convenience store, I hurriedly put my thinga on my locker and went to the cashier. “So you're the new one?” A deep voice greeted me as he gave me his big smile.

“I'm Taehyung by the way, Kim Taehyung” He extended his hands at me, so did I with hesitations and gave him a forced smile. “Nice to meet you” I said.
