"I bought groceries so could you go make us something to eat? I'm sure the boys are famished from running." Zico let go of Nabi's hand that he had been holding trying to keep her calm as he was being screamed at. She nodded getting up and disappearing into the kitchen.
"Why don't you get off of me Hobi and have a seat. No reason why any of you should be standing come sit." He motioned for them to sit down and Hoseok let go of him still standing in front of him.
"Who the hell do you think you are talking like you own the place!" It was the youngest who she had let live with her after he got kicked out of his parent's house. Kookie? Yea that's what she had called him.
"I do own the place. Did you really think a server from that small café could really afford this kind of house? She makes enough to pay for what she wants the rest is taken care of by me. I know everything that happens here from what she tells me to what my cameras pick up." He looked straight at the orange haired one who seemed to curl into himself lowering his head.
"Guys maybe we should sit down and talk this out. It seems like he doesn't want to harm her in anyway. Let him explain himself." His name was Jimin wasn't it. He was smart not to anger him anymore than he already had. The boys followed Jimin into the living room sitting down on the couches and the younger two on the floor. Hobi just choose to sit on the coffee table probably so he could punch him again if he deemed it necessary. He couldn't blame his best friend though it must have been hard to go through that only to see him now but it was better than the alternative.
"So what exactly happened in America where the only thing you could do was pretend to die?" Hobi just cocked his jaw at him his words dripping with venom.
"I told you that I had meet a woman, who you now know as Nabi, and that I had fallen in love with her. You know she hates violence which made me wonder if her love for me was really so great that she looked past my occupation. Well I wanted to be better for her, I wanted us to have better. I decided that I was going to quit and move back to Korea to do something good with myself. The organization found out about it and decided that she wasn't worth their best assassin. They had tried to kill her but only injured her. I'm sure none of you have seen it but she has a scar on her back from a knife wound. They told me to either come back or they would kill her and my family. I may not have been the best son but it was the only good thing I have ever done for my parents. They wouldn't have just stopped with her and them. They would have killed everyone I ever cared about so there was no reason for me to leave again. I made sure it looked like a car wreck and I felt bad for having to have her in the car when we hit the wall on the way to the airport in LA but I hit just right so I could get her out with minimal injuries then I set the car on fire. They never found any bodies in the car and they just assumed that since it exploded so did our bodies. After that I paid off a security guard and got on the next flight to Korea. I already had fake papers made for us so I just changed the names for us with someone who is no longer in this world. I got a job in a large conglomerate where I could be just another face in the crowd and I live in an apartment near my work and I walk there. I've moved far enough up where I could buy her an actual house fully paid for instead of her living in that hotel. I hate having to be away from her but it's the only way I can make sure that they never find her. Everything she has was paid for in cash so nothing could ever trace me to her. I love her more than my own life so I was hoping by putting her in my home town I could keep her safe since I knew you were all here. I also know how you can't stay away from a pretty girl, Hobi, especially one so different like her."
