"Louis..." El said again, her voice trailing off and her eyes still locked with mine. Why the hell was she looking at me? Why do I feel like she's asking for help. Shucks. I did not sign up for a life as an almost-celebrity's cousin, showbusiness is too glamorous for a phantom name like myself. She pulled her eyes off of mine, looking back at Louis with a discouraging frown. I don't know why this is all so intoxicating to my eyes. Like, there's venom seeping into my eyes at every passing second. I don't even know anymore.
I looked at Eleanor intently, her eyes trying to shout something to Louis, something that might get him either angry or devastated. I saw El's lips quiver, and everyone of us anticipated her answer, but Louis suddenly stood up, slowly and playfully. He put a silencing finger on El's lips when she opened her mouth to answer, making her turn a shade of deep crimson. I swear, these two right here make the grossest couple I've ever seen. "It's a beautiful night, I'm looking for someone down to do! Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you!" Louis said, kissing the back of El's hand that made her look down, then he
stole a kiss on her lips that caught her off guard. Like I said, grossest couple.
I felt thin hands touch me on my shoulder, making me look behind her. Under the multi-colored lights that send shades of green and red, I almost didn't recognize Sally. I almost forgot that I was with them, I was so absorbed by the marriage proposal turned Jewish festival in front of me. Eddie held my sleeve, lifting his arms high in the air. He was aking ne to carry him. I lowered my neck, slipping him into my arms carefully. "Eureka, Eddie's getting sleepy, and I think that this... Environment is a little rated PG for him to sleep in. Can I take him to the beach? I'm getting a little nauseous anyways, seeing 5/5 up close is too much for this lemon." She said, giving me wink. She flipped her to one shoulder, taking Eddie away from me. I waved goodbye when she turned back, going down the steep.steps to take Eddie to the beach.
I looked back the stage, where the rest of the band along with Perrie were already singing along with Louis. El stood there speechless, her eyes depicting a mix of iverflowing emotions. I, in the other hand, don't know how to react to this romantic yet goofy proposal.
Somehow, I was amazed at how well prepared Louis was although we arranged this crazy thing just this afternoon. And even though this is all hilariously beautiful, I saw a mysterious darkness flicker in El's eyes. "Just say I do-hu-hu-hu! Just tell me right now baby, oh baby right now baby!" Louis sang melodically intune, though he was surely tired of hislittle perdormance. Suddenly, he was flailing his arms in the air like on those crazy yet creepy looking mascots at 7/11. He lifted into his arms effortlessly, like she weighted nothing. He sat her on the silk and flower covered tablejust in time for the ending of the song.
"Louis... I..." El said again, her eyes drifting to me. I am just 17 years old! Gosh, I am 4 years younger than her, and she shouldn't be looking at me for advice about these topics, since I've only been inlove once, and it turned out to be a complete disaster. "I... I... I n-need a moment." she stuttered before she jumped off the table and ran to me. She grabbed my arm and dragged me to the ladies' room, and before she could swing the door shut,o I looked back at everyone else, seeing their astonishment. Louis was filled withgrief and I know exactly what's running through his mind. He must be thinking that El doesn't love him enough to marry him. I nodded at Louis knowingly, *It's gonna be fine Louis.*. I tried so hard to make my message get to him, to make him know that I will do my best to figure out what's wrong.
"El, what's the matter? Is something wrong?" I asked her when she snapped the lock and slid down the door, sitting herself on the bathroom floor. She kep her knees close to her chest, curling up into a little ball.
I leaned back, sitting myself down on the glossy marble island of the sink. I sank down, leaning back against the cool mirror. I looked to the side, not being able to look at her straightly, feeling like there's no... I dont know, I just dont.
"Eureka, I don't know what to do! Eureka, I know you are 3-4 years younger than me, well three since you're turning 18 next month, but I know you've been through much more than me. I love Louis, but I don't know if he'll want me after he finds out we have a baby! God! We had N agreement that I'll stay on my pills till we get married, but I forgot to buy them and couldn't drink for a week!" She squealed with a wave of pure panic. She looked at me like she could break down any second. She looked so vulnerable, which must be hars for he.
"El... I'm sorry if I didn't tell you earlier, but Louis already knows. And that's the whole reason he had the courage to ask you. He's been tracking your period, which seriously creeped me out at first, but he's super excited about that baby." I said in one long breath. El looked T me with a dumbfounded reaction.
"Really? H-He wasn't mad?" She stummered, stabding up with shaking knees. I just nodded at her and she literally jumped on me, wrapping her arms around me like U was a teddy bear. I felt her tears soak into my skin, her braided bun a mess.
"He's excited for his little Lou or... Ugh. Louisa." I said, sarcastically rolling my eyes. Man, that was one lame name.
"Thank God." She said, looking at me with happiness. After almost 10 minutes of cleaning her up, we went outside, the others already eating their dinner. Tension hung from the air like a thunder cloud. Louis beamed at El and took her to the table at the center. "Louis William Tomlinson, I would never..." El said, looking at me again before she grinned at me cheekily and gave me a wink. I winked at her back, my heart bloating with pride. This is one of the dreams I had, and it is finally coming true. El is gonna get married to her prince."Never.... Never ever say no! Of course I will marry you! I do!" El said, kissing the frozen Louis on the lips. I saw Louis' tears fall as he kissed El back.
El was the one thaf broke the kiss off, smirking at Louis and slapping his arm playfully. "And we are not naming the baby after you!" El said and whats erupted from everyone. Me, El, and Louis laughed at their reactions, at least until I heard Sally crying for me... What?....
