Dear Doctor Katrova,
I'm Veronica and I'm writing this so I can inform my older self about memories from these times. The horrible girls who make fun of my glasses. And the cute boy who stood up for me.. The A+ I got on my Exam. I won't remember those when I'm older. But I will remember my first kiss. First party..First love. I'm just starting to make those memories. So I'm starting this journal to remind myself of The memories that count.

I woke up surrounded with books and papers my glass smooshed under my head and I could feel the mess in my hair. I had fallen asleep while studying! My alarm started to beat with the theme of my favorite jazz song. I relished the idea of waking up every morning. The idea of the sun beating on my face as I wake up to the sounds of chirping birds just seems to make me smile.
I swung my feet over the side of my bed and headed toward my dresser. I choose a cardigan with a Sunflower along with black pants with white polka dots. After getting dressed I applied some mascara to illuminate my green eyes. Finally I skipped down the hallway to my front living room where I kept my tan converse sneakers. Outside I got on my pink bike and rode to my best friend Kyle's house, which was only 2 roads away. He had a small blue truck that we took to school everyday.
"Good Morning Ronnie!" He said as a parked my bike on the side of his small house."Sure is!" I grinned. We got into his truck and drove to school. We parked in the back lot by science wing so I could perfect a project I had been working on for weeks."Good luck!" Kyle said to me as we parted pur separate ways."Thank you!" I walked to the science room and began to reread my poster board while tinkering with small gadgets on my robotic car. Another boy was in here and I knew exactly who he was... Austin Campbridge. "Hey Austin.." I look up at him. My 5'3 height is no match for his 6'1.
