Alex had just gotten up in her room at the academy, she had been living with her uncle for about a year now and in training as the ninja of fire. Her father had allowed her to take her book of samurai life codes and teachings. She would still be training and learning the way of the Samurai. Cam was watching over her as she looked at her cousin once more, she was no older than 16 about to be 17 years old. She was now looking up and knew her mind was set on being well versed in her training. She had been up reading them as she looked at her pictures she had of her and her sister and her best friend. She put her mind in to everything she had before, and in to Katana training since she was still told to keep it up. She got up putting on her tank top, jeans, and an over shirt.

"Alright, now it is time to beat a practice dummy to bits." She said as she put her hair back from her face and grabbed a brush for getting the passkey fly away hairs that were driving her bonkers. She then began working on everything as a young samurai/ ninja she had to learn. She also had to keep things together and keep things under wraps about her mother, and who she was really till the time was right. She began to destroy the dummy for the 5th time this week.

"Alex come on breakfast!" Cam screamed as she looked at them and knew it was going to be a morning she wouldn't forget.

~Later that day~

"Awesome!" Alex laughed, glancing down to check her watch

"Oh scratch that. I'm not leaving you for another family but I am leaving you for class. I'm going to be so late." she jumped up from her seat, hugged her old friend and then bolted for the door grabbing her backpack in the process. Stepping off the last step into the store Storm Chargers, Alex looked up as she heard her name being called.

"Hey Lex," it was Storm Chargers employee Dustin Brooks "Late again?"

Alex grinned "Nearly," she told him as she pulled on her roller blades and tied them tightly. She then pushed herself up and skated out the door. Alex had gotten herself a job with her friend Dustin to keep things in order. But she as often more on time that Dustin ever was.

"See ya Dustin!" she called over shoulder as she disappeared from sight. Dustin chuckled as he watched her go, before turning to Kelly who appeared behind him. Ready for the new day, Alex had never been late but she was having to keep up with Tori, Dustin and her friend Shane. Each of them had worked hard, and knew it was not going to be a long day before she was now going to have to go back to her uncle. She had asked Kelly to shorter her work schedule by about 15 minutes she so could make it on time. She was now standing at the waterfall dressed and her uncle was beside her- that was till a dark negative energy surrounded them. Alex knew what it was, it was much like when she felt Master Xandred's darkness before she left her home in New Tech City.

"Uncle!" She said as she looked at him and using her abilities she was sent to go in to the underground. Alex looked at him as she smiled to look on to the next image in front of her. She knew it was going to be a long time but he knew he was trying to protect her, even at 14 she was not strong enough to do this on her own. Being a power ranger was nothing like most people saw in her.

"Well, I see you have a new little protégé." She knew the voice, it was Lothor, a name her mother had mentioned once before in one of her journals that she had begun reading as a young woman.

"Leave my Niece alone!" He said as she put her hands up and knowing it was going to bring things high enough to create super shield for her and Cam.

"Protect yourself and Cam!" Her uncle said to them as she looked at them and knew it was not going to be long before she was going to have to face all of this darkness but with a team. She knew her time was coming now that she was going to have to face a darkness that was after her. She was ready for the next piece of her life.
