Silent Talks (Luke and Aleisha Fanfic)

Chapter Seven

I took a shower and prepared for the night out dinner and carnival later. I decided to wear something simple...more of a go-to look. Black jeans, white shirt and my black converse. I was feeling punk rock. After thinking about that I immediately laughed because I remember Luke always saying that. I throw my hair up in a messy bun after I heard a our doorbell ring. I ran down our stairs which took a toll on me right after, I was panting so hard.

I saw Liz right away. I hugged her and we shared our "how are you's" to each other. I missed her so much. I didn't really get to see her before maybe a couple run ins but that's about it. Then I saw Luke gawking like an awkward person he is. I almost laugh at how awkward he was. He was wearing a black shirt, jeans and vans, making his blonde hair and blue eyes stand out even more. I never really noticed how broad his shoulders has gotten ever since.

Liz dropped by a few things for my mom and I. After that Luke and I went to the carnival. With his mom driving. I cannot fathom how awkward this is. We were better than this, I mean before we just commuted and now his mom is driving us to the carnival. How convenient yet awkward.

And things got even better...

Liz sparked up a conversation, "You know Aleisha it's just so great you're back with my son."

She made eye contact with me in the front mirror of the car.

"Oh uhm we're not-" I tried to say but she cut me off.

"Arzaylea is gorgeous but I just don't really like her attitu-"

"Mom we've been through with this same issue over and over" Luke said exasperatingly. Raising both arms in the air and dropping them quickly as if in defeat.

We just stopped conversing altogether.

Liz is queen and there is no doubt in that. But I just really wanted to get out of the car because of how thick the tension is after the topic on Luke's girlfriend. She shooed us away so we can have fun once we arrived. I was so relieved that I was out of that car. Phew!

A/N: HEYYY I KNOW THIS IS SHORT... BUT THIS IS KIND OF A FILLER UNTIL CHAPTER 10...BUT THERE'S GOING BE A LOT OF SCENES THAT I'LL MAKE SURE WILL MAKE YOU FEEL GIDDY TO THE BONES. PROLLY CHAPTER 11 OR 12 OR 13....THAT'S WHEN THE REAL DRAMA HAPPENS FOR REAL.
