Alison would hold you close to her, just wrapping you up in her arms and letting you stay there until you felt ready to let go. She would take you back to her house and you would just lie together in bed and she would spoon you, letting you tell her everything and wipe away your tears when you cry. She wouldn't care if she didn't sleep, as long as she knew you were safe and that you would be there when the sun rose in the morning.
