It's only the beginning

Prolouge

The sky was dark , darker than it has ever been . The King and Queen of Coventry were in a rush trying to save and protect their kingdom from the darkness that was trying to take over . But they had bigger problems to face - they had to protect their beloved twins , two beautiful baby girls . One named Abigail and the other Gabriella.

The darkness was getting closer and closer by the second and the kingdom of Coventry was in serious danger . The King took the two baby girls and ran but not before giving his beloved wife a kiss . It felt like he was saying his final goodbye to her and indeed it was his final encounter with his wife because as soon as he left that room he will not be coming back .She was scared and worried about her daughters, they were not safe here ,not safe at all.

The King quickly ran to the ballroom and gently placed the girls on the floor . The darkness had reached the castle and things weren't looking good .

Looking at both girls on the floor , the king knew deep down that this was the last time he would be able to see them . So he decided to give every last drop of power to both girls - so that one day they can protect and defend themselves from anything wanting to hurt them . 

The darkness surrounded the poor King and destroyed him leaving the babies unprotected and in harm . The darkness thought it had won, and finally concurred the kingdom, but it was wrong . As the darkness tried to touch the twins , wanting to destroy them, something amazing happened - their amulets began to glow such a bright light , so bright that it sent the darkness away leaving the people of Coventry safe and protected.

Ileana and Karsh - their protectors  quickly rushed into the ballroom and each took one child . Because of the power that the twins had flowing in their veins, for their safety , the twins were separated. They were to be taken into another dimension that would protect and hide the twins so that when the darkness returns it won't find them. Ileana took Gabriella and Karsh took Abigail and off they went to planet Earth.

Meanwhile in Chicago...

Ileana took Gabriella to the local Chicago hospital- leaving her in a room filled with abandoned babies and quickly vanished not wanting anyone to see her . The brunette Doctor came into the room and started checking the babies to ensure that they were healthy. She absolutely adores babies but couldn't conceive her own . She checked the children one by one , writing a quick report in the process.

Until she came to the last baby- an unfamiliar baby by the name of 'Gabriella'. She was so small and absolutely adorable. It was like love at first sight, as soon as she laid eyes on the baby girl something in her heart told her that bundle of joy was hers. Her skin was a nice tanned color and had nice small plump tiny lips. Her hair was in small curls and was a nice color of brown , what stood out were her eyes . Her eyes were a nice color of green that made her hair pop out . The doctor immediately fell in love with her and knew that she was gonna adopt her .

Meanwhile in Washington , Karsh took Abigail to the nearest hospital in Forks . He quickly ran inside but was stopped by a male doctor. Karsh quickly identified his secret of what he was . The doctor looked at the man and at the child and back to the man .

" I know what you are " Karsh whispered very low but the doctor could easily make out what he had said . He quickly guided Karsh into his office and closed the door immediately. " How do you know ?" The doctor asked with a bit of fear in his voice. " I'm a guardian angel and protector of this child. She's in danger and needs to be protected. Can you take her ? " he explained. The doctor didn't know what to say , he had never taken care of a child before. " I'm not exactly sure I can " he sadly said .

" She needs a family that can protect and love her and I know your family can do that " He pleaded

The doctor finally agreed and took the baby into his hands . He looked at the innocent baby in his arms . She had pale skin and brown curly hair . She was adorable and he immediately fell in love with her . He couldn't believe that something so sweet and tiny be harmed . He couldn't imagine someone wanting to harm her . " What's her name "

" Abigail "

"She's a very special girl Carlisle and she posses great power" and like that Karsh disappeared leaving the blonde doctor stunned and frozen in his spot.

To be honest with you , this is my second book I have written but the first to be published . This chapter took a while for me to write and edit until I thought it was perfect. I have so many big plans for this book and plan to write as much as I can .
