Harry's POV

Hello! I’m Harry James Potter, and the world knows me by many titles:

The Bloody Boy-Who-Lived

The Chosen One

The Boy Who Conquered the Bloody Snake-Face Dark Lord

The Boy Who Survived the Killing Curse

The Light’s Champion

The Boy Who Became the Bloody Master of Death

...and so on. Quite exhausting, isn’t it? These titles sound fun, but trust me, they’re far from it.

Let me tell you a long story—how everything happened and how it all ended.

Once upon a time, there was a boy living in an orphanage. His childhood was nothing short of a nightmare. Then, on his 11th birthday, a professor visited him. He thought he was being sent to a mental institution because he was called a “freak of nature” by everyone he knew. But instead, he was invited to attend a magical school in Europe. At first, he thought it was a joke. He was wrong.

Discovering the magical world was fascinating. It felt like fantasy had become reality. However, it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. He quickly learned about the societal structure of the wizarding world:

Purebloods: Descendants of ancient magical families with no non-magical (Muggle) ancestry. They valued old traditions and saw themselves as superior.

Half-bloods: Individuals with one magical parent and one non-magical parent.

Muggle-borns (insultingly called “Mudbloods” by some): Wizards or witches born to non-magical parents.

Prejudice ran deep in the wizarding world, and wizards, for all their magic, often lacked logic.

When he started at the magical school, he decided to make his mark. He used his cunning and charisma to win over professors and students alike. But not everyone was fooled—there was one professor who saw through his mask.

Winning over his peers was more challenging, especially the purebloods. Then one day, his ability to talk to snakes was discovered by a pureblood classmate. They began to suspect he might be the heir of Salazar Slytherin, one of the school’s founders and a staunch believer that Muggle-borns didn’t belong in the magical world.

Curious, he researched his heritage and found out he was Slytherin’s heir. However, he was a half-blood—his mother was a pureblood witch, but his father was a Muggle. Instead of being discouraged, he used this status to his advantage and gained followers.

As he grew older, he delved deeper into magic, pushing its boundaries. One day, he found a book detailing the darkest rituals imaginable. It taught him how to protect himself from his greatest fear: death.

He performed his first ritual, creating a vessel for his soul. To do this, he killed an innocent girl and framed a fellow student. Over time, he killed more people to create additional vessels.

Years passed. He graduated from school, then vanished. Rumors of a new Dark Lord began to spread, sparking the second wizarding war.

Amid the chaos, a prophecy was made. It foretold the downfall of the Dark Lord:

> “The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches...
Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies...
And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal,
But he will have power the Dark Lord knows not...
And either must die at the hand of the other, for neither can live while the other survives...”

This prophecy, spoken by Sybill Trelawney, reached Albus Dumbledore during an interview for a teaching position. Unfortunately, a spy for the Dark Lord overheard part of it and reported back.

The Dark Lord was furious. Unable to learn the full prophecy, he ordered his spies to uncover more about it. When they failed, he decided to eliminate the threat before it could manifest. To find the “Chosen One,” he placed one of his spies—a rat—inside the Order of the Phoenix to gather information.
