We were close, just over that mountain and we'd be in my territory. Raven hasn't woken yet and quite frankly I don't want her to not yet any way. When Raven sleeps, she sleeps for ages and with the lack of sleep she's gotten the past few days, I wouldn't be surprised if she slept till next month.

I could see it, the forest that surrounded our pack house, this means I'm close. My heart now hammered against my ribs. Once we got inside the boarders they would pick up on my scent and then I couldn't back out. I decided way back that I would stop just outside the boarder, for my benefit and Raven's safety. She was a werewolf who left her pack, making her a rogue but she was also a vampire making her a threat.

I parked the car and the sat back in the chair. I took deep breathes trying to calm myself. Raven stirred in the back and stretched her arms. Oh here we go.

"Why did we stop?" She asked sitting up and rubbing the sleep out her eyes.

"Well Raven this is my home," I said it straight.

Her eyes widened,"Holy shit! This is where you grew up?"

Instead of the angry Raven I pictured, she was excited?

"Uh yeah. You're not mad?"

"Nope," she said popping the 'p'.

"Why not?"

"I was hoping you would go back one day. The rogue life does not suit you," she said trying not to laugh.

"Gee thanks," I said and glared at her.

She gave me one of her winks before getting out the car. I immediately panicked and jumped out after her.

"What are you doing?" I yelled.

"Umm getting out a car," She replied.

"No shit Sherlock! I mean what are you doing here still? I thought we were going to part ways?"

"Avery I know I said that before but I've grown tired of the rogue life and I think it's time I find a pack to join. Plus I feel a pull here, like it could be my home," she explained.

I stared at her in disbelief. A month a go I would have laughed at her and said she was being silly but hearing this now, I smiled and wrapped my arms around her hugging her tightly.

"Can't breathe!" She gasped.

"I don't care," I said and let her go.

A tear escaped out of the corner of her eye.

"Are you crying?" I asked.

"What? It's very emotional ok?"

I smiled at her dramatics but the smile faltered and raven realized it.

"Oh no Avery if you're thinking about backing out, you can't!" She said and crossed her arms over her chest.

'Shes right Avery, you can't back out.' My wolf piped in.

"Why not?" I asked directing the question to both of them.

"You have to stop moping around and get over your issues," Raven stated.

'I can feel out mate.' My wolf whispered.

Chase was still here?

"I am over my issues," I huffed.

"Really?"

I nodded.

"Then why are you still standing here?" She asked smirking.

"I-I-I.........was.......," I started but then sighed in defeat.

"If you aren't going to move then I will make you move!"
