Kaci's POV
I went over to the Ghost, after Ezra and I got back from Gul's. I found Hera in the cargo hold. "Hey, Hera!"
"Kaci! This is unexpected!" She hugged me, and I hugged her back.
She pulled away as I asked my question. "Have you seen Sabine?"
"Yeah, her cabin. Why?"
"Nothing."
I climbed the ladder to the cabin level. As I passed my old cabin I ran my hand over the door. All the memories of Ezra and myself came flushing into my head. All our mischief, our naughtiness, everything.
I made it to Sabine's cabin and knocked. She opened the door. "Kaci?"
"Yeah it's me. I have a question for you."
She grinned. "Ask away."
"Well, you have all things colorful under the suns, right?"
She nodded, and I kept going. "Got anything permanent? Like for a tattoo."
"Yeah. I just don't use it. I change stuff to much. What color?"
"Orange." She handed it to me, "Thanks! I'll bring it back to you when I'm done."
"No, keep it. I won't ever use it."
"Okay."
I walked back to my ship, and happened to bump into Squeak. He was, of course, squeaking. "What buddy?"
I got some squeaks in response. "What do you mean, what am I doing?"
More squeaking. "I don't have anything in my hand. Just back off."
I ran up to my cabin and sat down on the bunk, after locking the door. I looked around for anything with a reflective surface. I finally found a small piece of medal in a drawer. I laid it down against the wall, so it would sit up. I looked at myself, and got to work.
I closed my left eye and pulled out the equipment and the ink.
Ezra's POV
I walked up to the doors of my cabin, but they were locked. I knocked lightly on the door. "Kaci, you in there?"
"Yes, just give me a second."
I heard her fussing with several drawers, and footsteps coming to the door. The door opened and I was shocked at what I saw. "Kaci! Your eye! What did you do?"
"I switched it up a little."
"I can tell." I ran my finger around the orange circle around her eye. I noticed it didn't just cover the outer part of her eye, but all the way down her eyelid, like makeup.
I kissed her, and pulled her so close that there was no line where she ended and I began, where I ended and she began. We pulled apart and Kaci whispered to me, "Now?"
"Now."
I pushed her back into the cabin, closed the door, and locked it. I picked her up off the ground and pinned her up on the wall. I ran lower lip across her collarbone and up her neck. I kissed her jawline and slid my thumb in the waistband of her black, skinny jeans. She shuddered.
She reached down and pulled my belt off, untucked my shirt, and pulled it over my head. She placed her hand on my bear chest while I slid her boots off and followed up by sliding her jeans down. I ran my hand down her legs. She pushed me off the wall, and I pushed her over to the bed.
I slowly unzipped her jacket and pulled it off her shoulders. I pulled her tank top over her head and kicked my boots off. She struggled my pants and finally pulled them off. I pushed her flat down on our bunk, and strattled her. I kissed her neck, the middle of her collarbone, the middle of her chest, her upper abdomen, her lower abdomen, and then her waist.
After I had gone down, I worked my way back up to her lips in the same way. I placed my hands on her thighs, while I kissed her. Then, we were one again. No line to separate us. No difference between her and me.
