Kaci's POV
I waited for anything and everything to come my way. Finally, the door opened. Agent White, the man who runs the executions, the man that I hate with a dying passion. Two stormtroopers grabbed both of my arms, one on each side. Agent White approached me and stared straight into his eyes.
He looks confused. "What are you doing?"
"There's a twinkle in everyone's eyes."
"Not in mine."
"There's a twinkle in even the darkest of person's eyes."
I searched his eyes for something, anything. I find something, something small. Guilt.
Third Person POV
The man stood staring into the girls eyes. Her ice cold, dark grey eyes. He was confused as to whether they were naturally that color or if they were reflecting the black of her pristine jacket.
He was nervous. He was trying to push away the feeling, change the subject, anything. "Hey boys, I'm hungry. Wanna go to the mess hall?"
Then, it happened. The girl swung her right leg up between his legs, and her left across his head. His mouth filled with blood as her harsh voice arose as a villainous growl, "How'd that taste?"
She squirmed and the man flinched. When he did she grinned and chuckled lightly. "You coward. I hope you suffocate on your own blood!"
Still dazed he stumbled towards the door. The girls screams followed him. "GET BACK HERE, YOU SON OF A BI-" She was interupted by the door sliding shut behind him.
He stopped by a woman and a gaurd. "The girl will be injected first thing in the morning. She's our first priority."
He remembered her eyes and shuddered. Those dark eyes filled with nothing but hatred for his very soul. He had twenty thoughts running through his head at the same time: What did she mean by a twinkle in his eyes? Did she find what she was looking for? What did she find in his eyes?
He pushed away the thoughts, because everytime he thought about those eyes, he could see them. He loved and hated those eyes. He loved that he would be able to see all the passion drained from them. He hated that his soul had been picked apart by them. His only thought was those eyes. All night. They were what kept him awake at night. In his head, echoing, all night; Eyes, eyes, eyes.
