Chapter 11: i don't like leaving you?

The day went by pretty fast. School was over and my mom made Aiden give me a ride. I don't understand why Jessie couldn't do it.

I was sitting in the passengers seat of Aiden's car when a certain song started to play. You can already guess which song.

"Unbelievable." I muttered. Aiden started to laugh at my reaction.

"This is my new favorite song." He said in between laughs. I rolled my eyes. We pulled up to my house and when I was about to get out, Aiden stopped me.

"What, no kiss goodbye?" The smirk that I despised appeared on his face. I gave a sharp exhale. This is one of the times where I didn't know how to respond to Aiden. I got out of the car and as I made my way to the front door, Aiden rolled down his window and shouted, "I still didn't get that kiss!"

Without turning around I kissed my hand and slapped my butt. Basically telling him he can kiss my ass. "Oh come on Corey. You know when you give me attitude, it turns me on." He laughed.

Unbelievable.

I turned around. "Leave!" I shouted at him. He winked at me and then drove away. No words. I have no words.

****************

Me and Peyton's pants filled the air. He was really good.

We just finished our game. The score was 10-6. I won.

"Corey, you can really play."

"Thanks, so can you."

"Since you won, how about I take you to dinner?"

Peyton is so sweet, it's almost to good to be true. "But we're all sweaty and stinky." I told him.

"Ok than how about tomorrow?" He asked. This is the third time he asked to do something with me. I couldn't help but smile.

"Sound like a plan." He smiled back.

We were playing in the gym at school, so on our way outside I told him I had to use the bathroom. He replied an ok and said he'll be waiting in the car.

On my way to the bathroom, I saw a figure sitting against the wall. As I got closer and closer I saw that the figure was Aiden. He had his head in his hands. "Aiden?"

I don't know why but I had to know what was wrong. Last week if I was in the same scenario, I would've left him against the wall with no care at all.

He looked at me and I instantly knew what was wrong. He was high. Again. His eyes were red and he smelled terrible. He was looking at me, but not really at me. His eyes were unfocused; like he didn't know who I was. I didn't know what to do. I couldn't leave him here. Could I? Well, what am I suppose to do with him?

Before I can make any other move, he stood up and stumbled a bit. He stared at me and then mumbled something.

"Corey..." So he did recognize me. He walked towards me; more like stumbled. "I don't like you." Um, Okay. He was now in front of me. "You did this to me. This is your fault." He said through gritted teeth. His words came out kind of slurred.

Again, I was lost. I didn't know what to do. I was speechless. The only thing going through my mind right now is 'what's going on?' Aiden leaned his head to the side and studied me. The way he was looking at me was like he was possessed.

He reached out and stroke my arm up and down still looking at me. I went stiff under his touch.

I noticed somethings about Aiden when 'he's not himself'. I found that he talks about his feelings and what he really wants to say. He's like sort of lost. He sees what he wants to see.

"Aiden, let me take you home okay." I spoke in my second voice because of his touch. He just let go of my arm and nodded.

I guess it wasn't that bad, because he still understands me. He reached in his pocket and gave me his keys. I led him down the hallway and out into the parking lot. I led him to his car and told him to wait there. He just nodded his head again.

I quickly found Peyton's car and went to the drivers side. He rolled down the window. "Is everything okay?"

"Listen, Jackson just called and I need to get to his house because he's sick." I told him.

"Who's Jackson?" Peyton asked with a confused look.

"My best friend. I was going to walk to his house because its just around the block." His face went to confused to concerned.

"Are you sure? Will you be okay?"

"Yeah. I'll text you later, okay?"

"Aright. I'll see you tomorrow." He rolled up his window and drove out of the car park. I made my way back Aiden. He was leaned against the car and his eyes were droopy.

I opened the car and helped him in the passenger seat. When I got into the drivers seat I looked over at him and he was already looking at me.
"What?" I asked him. He just looked away at the window.

I turned on the car and made my way to his house. When we came to a stoplight, I took a glance at him again and his head was rested against the window. He was sleeping. He looked so peaceful when he was sleeping. He looked more nice and gentle.

When we reached his house, I turned to him. I started to shake him gently. "Aiden. Aiden. Aiden, wake up." He just sat there and he didn't move. Oh God.

I got took the keys out of the ignition and got out of the car. I made my way to the passenger side. I opened the door and tried again. "Aiden, get up. Come on, get up!" Nothing. I got nothing. I put both of his arms around my neck and dragged him out the car.

Damn, this boy was heavy. I dragged him all the way to the front door. I had to get the key from under the mat, so in attempt to get it, Aiden fell on the ground. I stood there waiting for him to wake up. Nothing. I was getting Nothing.

I took the key from under the welcome mat and opened the door. I wrapped Aiden's arms around my neck again, and dragged him into the house. I closed the door behind us and brought him into his room. I didn't have to go up the stairs because his room was on the first floor. I put him on his bed and made sure I put his keys down on his nightstand. When I was about to leave, I heard him murmur some thing. I turned around and saw Aiden's eyes wide open, watching me.

"Corey, don't leave me."
