A day in the life of Damon and Jake

(Damons P.O.V.)

I woke up to my alarm clock blaring 'ugh why did coach have to schedule practice throughout the summer!' I thought as I pulled myself from bed. I gathered my clothes and went to the bathroom to clean my face. I stalked downstairs at a sluggish pace still tired from lac of sleep. Now you might ask "Well Damon why didn't you get enough sleep if you knew you had practice" the answer is completely simple. I spent most of last night texting Anna and texting Jake. I got to the kitchen and started eating cereal because my mom had already gone to work. When I finished I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and combed my hair. I walked downstairs and grabbed the car keys and yelled to my older brother Al that I was taking the car. Al ran down the stairs and said "No you can't take the car I have track practice remember?" I completely forgot Al had track practice. "Can't you just run there and that way you get double the practice!" Al gave me a look that said 'really'"Well when does your practice start and when does it end?" I asked, he told me and I told him that mine starts after his does and I get out sooner then him. We agreed I would take him to practice and Pick him up when it ends. "Wait Damon what about Dustin? Mom will kill us if we leave him home alone." Al said, he had a point, "one of us are going to have to take him with us" I stated. "You take him he loves basketball" Al said. I replied fine and told Dustin to get up and get ready. When we were all ready I grabbed the keys and we all piled into our family car and I began to drive to the park where Al practices. I dropped him off and then I went to the school. I parked and Dustin and I got out and went to the gym. I told Dustin to stay on the bleachers while I meet up with the guys in the locker room.

When I got to the locker room I saw the boys horsin' around as usual. When they saw me I got bombarded with Hey's. Jake came over and we started chatting. The coach came in and introduced a new member of the team his name was Raymond I think. We started out with our simple warm ups. Then we started practicing.

(A.N:I'm going to skip all of the details of it because I'm a complete idiot when it comes to any sport)

When we finished we were drenched in sweat. We hit the showers and I let the water relax my muscles. When we were all dressed and such I went up to Raymond and said "nice job man your really good" he replied with a thanks and with that Jake and I were just hanging out while Dustin was just playing basketball. Jake and I decided to throw a small party at his place to just relax and get to hang out with the team.

We said goodbye and Dustin and I went to go pick up Al.

......Jake's P.O.V........

(Time skip to the morning)

I woke up to a text from Kristi that said 'have fun @ practice! Can we meet up and do somethin?' I replied by saying 'yea sure anything you want babe'

I looked at the time and decided that I'd better get ready for practice. I went downstairs and ate breakfast. I got ready, got in my car and went to the school.

(Time skip you know what happens)

When I left school I went to Kristi's house and gently knocked on the door. The door opened to reveal Kristi's dad. "Hello sir is Kristi home by any chance?" I asked "No she's not she went out with Anna to do something but she should be back soon if you want you can wait here if you want" he suggested. I said yes and I sat on the couch while Kristi's dad sat on the recliner. "So Jake tell me about yourself" he began. For the next half hour I was getting to know Kristi's dad. I heard the front door open and a familiar voice yell "I'm home!" Kristi's dad yelled back "Ok you have a visitor!" Kristi walked into the room and when she saw me she squealed and hugged me saying "JAKE!!! How was practice?" Out of the corner of my eye I saw her dad leave and I told her how we got a new player and about the party. I asked her if she'd come but she looked reluctant probably because of the last party. I reassured her that she would be ok and she was more then excited.

Kristi took me to her room and we just hung out. Things were getting boring so we called Anna and Damon. We heard the door bell ring so Kristi went to bring them upstairs. With Kristi in my lap, Damon on the computer chair, and Anna on the floor we all talked about the party.

{time skip *****PARTY*****)

I stood at my door greeting everyone coming in. I saw a familiar car drive up. Kristi walked out looking as stunning as ever. She stood in front of me and twirled. I could already tell I'd have a heack of a time keeping my hands off her. I brought her in my arms and whispered in her ear how hot she looked. I heard someone clear there throat and we pulled away to see Damon with Anna "would you two mind getting a room?" Damon asked. "Oh and use protection" Anna added with a wink. I looked at Kristi to see her with her mouth gaping and her beet red. We all entered my house. We saw everyone from the basketball team and some cheerleaders there. A few guys from the team came up to me saying how cool this party was.

(Slight time skip)

By now I have reason to believe the drinks were spiked. People were drunkenly making on the couch, people were dancing horribly, and I think I hear people having se% in a room. I looked over to the dance floor and saw Kristi dirty dancing....she must be drunk. I found Damon talking to Raymond. I decided to finish the party. I got Damon and Raymond to tell everyone the party was over while I called Kristi's parents. I told them she was tipsy and I don't want her driving home. When everyone was out I grabbed Kristi and sat her on my lap as Anna and Damon crashed on my couch along with Raymond. We all just sat there in silence. "Well I think we should go." Damon finally said. Anna agreed and they left. A little later Raymond left after we talked for a bit.

I took Kristi up to my room and layer her in my bed. I changed and got into bed. The sent of alcohol was on her I held her close and fell asleep.

I woke up to the sound of someone vomiting. I rushes to the bathroom and laughed at the sight. Kristi was over the toilet throwing up. I walked over to her and held back her hair. "That's what you get for getting wasted" I said laughing.
