I'm pretty sure my mate is Louis. I mean, I have these feelings towards him I can't really explain. I realised that just before I died. He is the one I want to spend my life with. I don't know if he feels the same way about me, but I hope he does.
But now I've got a problem.
How do I get him to get his pendant and put it with mine? He's probably never even came close to thinking his pendant would help him, and to be honest, I don't blame him. If he was dead and I was his mate, I wouldn't have a clue. There must be some way that he could realise what to do. Let me think....
If he is my mate, then he must be a vampire of the moon, like me, because my mum said that the other vampire of the moon is my mate. Unless I have another mate, which my vampire instincts tell me I do. Huh. I wonder who it is. I try and work it out, but there's no use. I won't be able to tell unless I feel that connection.
Which I don't.
"Guys, we really need to do something, we've been sitting around like this for 3 weeks now. I know we're all in pain, I know we all miss her a lot, but we need to try and get ov-" Zayn is cut off by a snappy Harry.
"Don't you dare say we need to get over her, she is one of the best things that happened to us and you know it Zayn, so don't bother,"
Everyone looks at Harry in shock. I do too, even though no one can see me. Aww, that was sweet of him! Zayn looks at the ground, studying his feet. He is ashamed, I can feel it. I know he didn't mean it though, he was just trying to lighten the mood, but it feels heavier than ever now. And depressing. I admire him for trying though.
"S-should we hunt?" Niall says, trying to change the subject. Ali is sleeping, having cried herself to sleep, so they could talk freely about their vampire side.
"Yeah, I suppose," Liam says, standing up. The rest of them follow him out. I tag along too, having nothing else to do.
"Shouldn't someone stay with Ali?" Niall says, clearly worried.
"Naaaah, she'll be fine, we won't be long," Liam replies. They run into the forest, and attack the first thing they see, which happens to be a group of deer. They kill every one of those poor creatures, and suck them dry. There was about 10 of them, between 6 people, so they must have been pretty hungry.
"Do you think s-she liked us, really?" Zayn says suddenly, shocking everyone at the randomness of the question.
"Y-yeah, why ask that, Zayn?" Liam says unsurely, but trying to sound confident.
"Well- never mind," Zayn replies, plunging himself deep into thought. Hmm... Why wouldn't I like them? Had that week I had known them meant nothing?
They all run back to the house, (me floating along, of course) and enter. Immediately we know something is wrong. The house has been wrecked, pictures smashed, plates broken, sofas ripped. I look around frantically. The only thing that was in this house that I cared about right now was gone.
