"Just slap her across the face, I'm sure that'll wake her up,"

"Are you stupid? You might hurt her!"

"Oh shut up, you curly-headed freak. Who cares if it hurts her? I couldn't give two-"

"That's enough, why are you acting like this? What happened to the girl I thought I-"

"Lies. Lies broke her apart, she got tired of being lied to. Then, Alex came. That's Summers dad, in case you didn't know. He offered me immortality in exchange for my services. And what idiot wouldn't want a chance like this? So I took it... And now look at me. Immortal. Summer lied to me. She obviously didn't want to share this life with me, so why should I care about her?" I recognise the voice as Ali's.

Slowly, everything is coming back into focus. I open my eyes really slowly. Nothing is spinning, but I have an extremely sore head, so thinking isn't the best thing for me to do right now.

"Because she's your friend, Ali. She didn't tell you to protect you. She didn't choose this life, she was chosen, and you are just too selfish to see that. You are cursed, a creature of the night, something for humans to be frightened of. You could've lived a happy life, but instead, you chose this. I just hope you still like being undead in 100 years," I recognise Louis now.

"Oh shut up, why would I even care what you have to say?" Ali says and I hear her approaching me.

I open my eyes and try to rub my head, but I'm stopped.

Why?

I'm chained to a freakin wall. Just like the boys.

Oh god, I should've seen this coming. I can't just expect to practically assault my dad and then not be chained up.

Ali smirks when she sees my expression.

"Aww, does poor little Summer not like being chained up like an animal?" She mocks sympathy, and my blood boils.

Don't, Summer, that's what she wants. She wants me to be angry, so she has an excuse to do something to me.

I decide to ignore her, and I try to wriggle out of the chains. It burns my wrists, and I hiss.

"Aww, don't be afraid, I only put a little something on the chains so you can't escape, oh so special one," she smirks, and I begin to fantasize about killing her in so many different ways. I try to speak but my throat feels like sandpaper.

"Your dad gave me the honours of... well, you'll see. But he will have to watch," she says, and she disappears. All the boys instantly look at me, regret on their faces.

"Summer, we're so sorry, we thought you were-"the boys begin, but Louis cuts them off, to my surprise.

"Guys, if someone framed you and then told me you did it, and I believed them, even though I can't trust them... how would you feel?"

They are all silent, and Louis nods.

"Pretty bad, yeah? So how do you think Summer feels? Exactly," he takes their silence as an answer.

"Guys, don't worry-" I whisper hoarsely, but my voice gives out halfway.

"Can-can you speak, Summer?" Harry asks softly, and I shake my head weakly. It still hurts, if your wondering.

"Hello, again," my dad and Ali appear in the doorway, both with a wicked expression.

This can't be good.

"Why are we even her-" Harry begins but my dad cuts him off by punching him in the stomach.

"Don't speak unless your spoken to," he says, venom dripping from his words.
