Who is doing this? Maybe she just got up by herself and walked away, but I know Ali wouldn't do that. Or would she? Arrghh!
I need to know who done this. Why would they want her anyway? She is human, doesn't know anything about vampires or how I died. She thinks I died in a car crash. If I do come back to life, she will get a really big shock. She is so vulnerable-
I'm an idiot. Obviously people would use her to get to me. How did I not see this? She is my best friend for gods sakes, and she's human, so it makes it 100x easier to overpower her. But wait, why would someone want to hurt me if I'm dead? None of this makes sense.
"It does if you think about it," a soft voice says nearby me. I turn around to see my mum.
"Mum!" I shout, hugging her. She hugs back, before pulling away and looking me in the eyes.
"Honey, your friends need you, you know that, right?" She whispers, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. Why would she ask that?
"Because I know what your thinking. No, it's not impossible to link birth pendants, you just need to wait, it will happen, I can feel it. But I'm not sure-" she stops, chewing her lip.
"Not sure about what?" I ask, looking into her eyes. She is fighting with herself, obviously about telling me something. She shakes her head slightly.
"Oh, nothing,"
Hmmm... Suspicious. I'll drop it for now though.
"So when will I be back? And how will he know what to do? And why-" my mother cuts me off.
"Honey, all in good time. Believe in them, they won't fail you,"
