I have these ocean eyes.
not the color of an unfathomable blue that,
sparkles under the reflection of the setting sun,
nor the beautiful ray of light that would make you,
fall into a daydream when I capture your attention.
but the ocean eyes filled with an endless void,
of water so cold, so deep, and stretching for miles,
without a single trace of land to be found.
and in the center of the water is a small girl with dark hair,
trying to swim for her life while no one else is around.
yet she cries out for help, even out of arms reach,
calling out for someone who can possibly help me.
I always thought it was useless to await such a fantasy.
because behind these ocean eyes,
lives someone only i could see.
