Brendon drives off to the address that Patrick had sent him while Ryan was in the back calming Lynn down. "Shh it's okay" Ryan cooed at her hugging her close trying to calm her down. "I know what you've been through" he rubs her back as she looks up at him. "H-How?" She wiped a few of her tears sniffling. He took a deep breath before responding, Brendon didn't even know this. "Well my mom and dad had a what you would call 'golden' relationship. No fights, nothing. Then one night, I was around 4 my dad gets home from work early expecting to see my mother happily watching tv as she usually does but instead she's sucking faces with a guy that she had just met. I being a young and curious child heard yelling so I went to go see and I saw my dad slap my mom calling her all sorts of insults. I don't think my dad noticed at the time but my mother was very drunk. There were bottles everywhere but my dad never took full notice, instead he added more and more bottles to the pile. As you can imagine he turned into an alcoholic, and a very aggressive one too. He always beat me saying it was my fault she cheated, and he cursed and did any other type of harm towards me. I had gone to the hospital more then 3 times in a month so they told my dad to leave the room as they were going to do something that parents couldn't be allowed in the room for. He nodded without thinking much so once he walked out they asked me all these different questions, that I answered all. One of them being 'Does he hurt you'. I nodded and they quickly told the police and basically everyone they needed to so, my dad got arrested and I was sent to go live with my mom. It was nearly the exact thing except she didn't hurt me so I lived with it and I still do. I can't wait till the day I can move out". Brendon gasped as so did Lynn. "Baby I'm so sorry" he looked at Ryan through the backseat mirror. Ryan shrugged looking at Lynn seeing that it had calmed her down. "So the moral of the story is just tell someone okay?" He said to her and she nodded. "Thank you R-Ryan" she said looking At him. He nodded as they all got out of the car once they reached their destination. Lynn walked to the door knocking on it as Brendon and Ryan trailed behind. Brendon held Ryan's hand "why didn't you tell me babe? I could've helped" he kissed his forehead. Ryan bit his lip before responding, "I didn't want to get you into the mess, now he's gone and I'm alright." Brendon looked at him, "if your mom is EVER giving you trouble come to ME immediately even if we break up, if we ever do, I'll always take you in okay?" He pecked his lips softly. Ryan nodded kissing him back as Patrick unlocked the door for them. He let Lynn in before leaving Brendon and Ryan in their own world. Everything's going to be okay, thought Ryan.
