Chapter 24

{GUESS WHAT?!?! Im changing Shattered schedule!}

I awoke with a groan, the sun in my eyes. It was Saturday.. I got up and got ready. I put on red lipgloss, white eyes shadow, jeans, lace up boots, and long sleeve sweater. After I was ready, I went downstairs to see Grandpa Richy reading the paper. He glanced up at me. He did a double take.

"You arent going out, are you?" He asked, an eyebrow raised. I nodded, plugging my headphones into my phone. "No your not," He said, making me look at him. "Why not?" I cocked my head. "Because! There are boys out there!" He barked. "So? Im not wearing anything showy," I shrugged. "SO!? There out there! And thats enough!" He shouted. "You realize you are a boy right?" I reminded him. "No, I am a man. And im disgusted at my younger self... I had a child before I was married," He self-scolded himself. "But werent you planning on marrying gramma anyways...?" I added. "THATS NOT THE POINT!" He screamed. "THE POINT IS, YOUR NOT LEAVING THIS HOUSE!" He added. "Watch me," I rolled my eyes, walking out. 

I exited the house. When I was about half way across teh street, he shouted, "No TV for you missy!" I giggled. "I dont watch TV anyway. I go on my computer," I mumbled, laughing at him. Before he could shout at me anymore, i put on my head phones and played my music. I mumbled along. {Play song}

I finished just as I arrived at teh park. I sat on teh bench, people watching. It was quite calming. The little girl with red hair was climbing with a boy who looked like her. A woman who had red hair also, watched them discreetly. She mustve been their mother. I smiled at them. 

"Well, if it Aphmau," A snobby voice came from behind me. Estelle. I stiffened and went pale. "Not so tough, are you?" A different voice giggled. Lillian. "Heh, we tried to warn you," Another voice hissed. Tara. I slowly stood up and turned. Sure enough, they stood there. Estelle grabbed my arm and, despite my resistance, dragged me to a secluded part of the park. Shadows loomed over them. Giving them a menacing look. 

Before I could register what was happening, I was kicked in the gut. I fell to the side, not making noise. "Pathetic," Lillian muttered, kicking me again. After more harmful words that I dont wanna repeat and more kicking, I slowly sat up. Every inch of my body hurt and I was bleeding in some places. "I-I'm not gonna stop defying you," I said, looking straight at Estelle. She smirked before kicking the side of my head.I closed my eyes, and felt my head hit the pavement. 

{DID YOU LIKE IT? I did! Anyway, this book will be now coming out on Tuesdays and Saturdays since I am now open on Saturday... Please note, my saturdays can be busy sometimes and if I dont update on Sat. dont worry... But I will try to always update tuesdays.... This past week i was in Minnesota so i couldnt, tho....       As a last few words, i need to say: CLIFFHANGER!!!!}

{dont worry, Im gonna post more either later tonight or tuesday..... So- you'll either have to wait a couple of hours or a couple of days.... Is that mean? XD}
