"We have trucks over this way follow me" The man led them to a small parking lot. "This is a 2015 Ford F-450" The man pointed at a dark blue Truck. "We'll take it!" Sahara gave him $76,000. They loaded everything up and headed down the road to a trailer dealership. Lawrence and Jacob got out and met up with his cousin, Alexandria. She led them to a 12 foot trailer that was 5 feet wide. "This one is good, right. "I don't know. Sahara and me wanted to get horses so we could plow and live off the land" Lawrence pulled out his wallet. He gave a man in a tan shirt $2,000. The man hooked up the trailer for an expense of $600 dollars. They were back on the road with a trailer. "Know we're off to pick up the horses and we got Alexandria." Lawrence was happy. They drove a long way before pulling up a driveway with two light sorrel Belgian Draft horses tied to a rail. They parked and started for the man beside the horses. "Are you here for our horse sale?" A bald man with a grey beard asked. "Yes we are" Jacob began petting the horses. "Those two are a working and breeding pair, They go together for Fifteen hundred firm. We got more horses behind the barn" The man told them. "We will take these and two more." Sahara told the man. "I got one more breeding pair." The man told them. "We will take them." Lawrence told the man. "That truck and trailer for sale?" Alexandria asked pointing at a maroon truck with a white stock trailer. The man looked at her. "Yes. Fifteen Thousand or better offer" The man pulled out chewing tobacco. "Twenty thousand five hundred" Alexandria pulled out money and a chewing tobacco can. "Sold!" The man laughed taking the money.
A young looking girl led two big Belgians to them. "Thank you" Lawrence told them as they loaded the horses. "Two in that one and two in the other" Alexandria ordered. The horses were loaded and payed for. "Now we're headed for Maine!" Sahara buckled up with the dog's barking. The drive was long and quiet. Lawrence watched Sahara sing, Misery by Maroon 5. She knew all the words. So hot! Lawrence thought. He closed his eyes and fell asleep with Tux's face in his lap and Aqua at his feet. Boss was curled up beside Aqua on the floor board.
"We're in Maine!" Jacob shouted when Lawrence roused from sleep. "Where are we?" Lawrence rubbed his face. "In Maine at a gas station" Jacob told him. Lawrence saw Sahara unlatching the Trailer door to Alexandria's trailer. Lawrence jumped out and pulled the horses out. Lawrence led a Huge mare in circles to stretch her legs. Alexandria unhooked the trailer and drove off. "Where is she going?" Lawrence asked. "She went to go get logging equipment for us. They loaded the horses back onto the trailers and slept at the gas station for the rest of the night.
In the morning, They drove off as soon as Alexandria got back. When they approached a forest with a log that read, Montgomery's Homestead farm. Lawrence knew he was home. They drove up a rocky dirt drive that winded in a circle before reaching a clearing. "This is it. By memory i heard it was just right there" Lawrence pointed at a crooked house with a tree through it and a log that fell on top. "Well what's left of it" Lawrence told them. "People haven't been here in Twenty five years what do you expect, A castle?" Sahara said. "Lets get the horses out and tie them to the trailer" Jacob ordered. They unloaded the horses and got the axe out.
