Sunday Morning
Herman's POV
I went down stairs to find all my kids at the table eating breakfast. The only thing was Gabby wasn't with them.
When I went up to Gabby's room she was tangled in her covers on the bed.
I went beside her and woke her.
Gabby- Omg what time is it? I'm going to be late for work. I have to get ready.
Herman- Gabby you're not going to work today.
Gabby- What do u mean?
Herman- Let's talk
Gabby- okay
Herman- Gabby you can't drink your life away you have friends and family that support you remember that.
Gabby- Thanks Herman
At shift
Shay's POV
I was in the locker room texting Gabby when Severide came up behind me.
Severide- Wat's up
Shay- Just checking on Gabby.
Severide- What about you give her a day to get her head straight
Shay- Okay
Sunday afternoon
Casey's POV
Truck had just finished a call and I went to ask chief if I could go check on Gabby. Chief offered me the rest of the shift off since it was only two hours left of shift.
At Herman's Place
Gabby's Pov
I had taken a shower and was now eating some left over breakfast while watching TV. After a while I started texting the mystery guy at Molly's
Gabby- So what's your name?
Mystery guy- Michael
Gabby- Nice name and I was texting u to redeem my self from my hangover Friday night..
Michael- Deal. Well are u available at 8:30 on Wednesday?
Gabby- Yes and I'll send you my address.
Casey's POV
I had arrived at Herman's house hoping Gabby would answer the door. After several knocks Gabby opened the door. She invited me in to sit on the couch.
Casey- What's going on?
Gabby- I was drinking away my problems, but I am going to stop.
Casey- Gabby if you need me come and talk to me any times. We'll always be friends.
Gabby- Thanks
Gabby walked over to the door and gave Casey a hug. Casey then got in his car and left.
