Zach walked out of the building, bag in hand, and a smirk on his face. His hair was disheveled.

"Ready to go?" He asks.

"Yeah," I nod.

We got into his car and drove out of the parking lot. We headed to Burger King and ordered food. The kiss was still on my mind and lips.

"So what do you want to do? Watch a movie? Prank calls?"

"Prank calls?" I asked. "People still do those."

"I do."

"Eh, you're no one," I say.

"Wow. Okay. I see how it is."

It fell silent and I chewed on my food. We were getting close to his house. I felt guilty for not telling him.

What if he hates me?

"Zach," I whisper. "I think. . . I think I'm- I think I'm gay."

"Okay," he shrugged.

I frowned.

"Okay?" I gasp.

"Yeah."

"You're okay with this?"

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?"

"I don't know."

He nodded and we pulled into his drive way. After we got out of his car, we walked up the steps to his house.

"We gonna watch a movie?"

"I wanna see Stand By Me. Jessica is always talking about it."

"She said I look like one of the characters."

"Let's find out."

We walked to his room and turned on the tv. He said he's had the DVD, but never watched it.

We were in the middle of the movie when he decided to talk. He turned his body to me and smirked. Then asked, "This isn't gonna be some cliche story and you tell me you like me, are you?"

He laughed and I joined him. I shook my head and told him about my feelings. He only frowned and went back to the movie.

I made the choice of getting his number and texted Jessica.

Me: Hey. So I need Jacob's number. I'll explain later.

Her: Okay. It's ***********

I took that number and wrote, "Hey. It's Vincent."

He replied back: "Hey."

I smiled.

"You wanna talk about that kiss?"

Him: Yeah, but face-to-face.

Me: Okay.

Him: But I would like to talk about you.

I felt my face flush and Zach saw it. He laughed and asked what happened. I shook my head and texted Jacob back.

Me: There's nothing really to tell.

Him: I'm sure there is. How old are you?

Me: Seventeen. Eighteen in a few months.

Him: I turned eighteen a few months back.

Me: Oh.

It took him a little to reply. Maybe he was busy. After ten minutes of waiting, I gave up and paid attention to the movie.

I felt my phone buzz and looked to see Jessica texted. I opened my phone and read the message.

Her: What is the reason you needed that number.

I sighed.

I told her I wanted to tell her something next time I see her in person. She replied with an okay.

God, I hope you are okay with what I am going to tell you.
