Arms reaching towards the ceiling, I arched my back and stretched. Once again was wearing Kakashi's clothes, since we were ordered not to train tomorrow by the medic-nins, Kakashi had told me that after I my day at the academy, he would take me to buy some necessities. Such as clothes.
And a boyfriend.
Haha, no kidding. I wish though. But buying a boyfriend would be similar to prostitution and I would think that would even be frowned upon in this world. Plus I had this moral against the idea of buying people for personal gain. Call me a cliche, but I hate the rich types who think they could buy anyone off.
"Are you alright?" The tiniest amount of concern leaked into Kakashi's voice, and I tilted my head to frown at him as he leaned against the kitchen doorway, "You've been standing in that pose for five minutes, are you stuck?"
Dropping my arms, I shook my head, "Just stretching. Our dinner ready?"
After the trip to the Hokage's office, Kakashi then decided to drag me to hospital. Where were healed over a period of hours. The wait would have been shorter, but the second I saw those glowing green hands of the medic-nin in front of me, I freaked out. Consequently, making Kakashi jump and then groan in pain because of his ribs.
It took me another hour or so to even let them near me, but Kakashi had put it to use. Explaining the basics of this world, I had a pretty good idea on how to some up this world. Insane. Though this world lacked the technology I had back home, it was well laden with same amount of politics and weird powers only superheroes had.
So hence why it was a late return home and even later dinner. Which thankfully Kakashi had offered to cook. Following him into the kitchen, I took a seat at the table and watched as he spooned some rice into the bowls. The smell of the stir-fry in the pan made my stomach grumble.
"Thanks," I mumbled as placed the bowl in front of me, "So this theory of yours. The one you had earlier when I tracked your movements through the vibrations in the ground. What was it?"
I kept my eyes down out of politeness, mainly because I didn't want to see what's on his face. He hid it for a reason and I was going to respect that. Despite my curiosity, which had unfortunately spiked my awareness up a notch. When he spoke, I took that as a sign to look up and I was met with a empty bowl and a masked covered Kakashi.
Leaning back in his seat Kakashi studied me, "You know how we talked about chakra natures?" I nodded, "I have a feeling your chakra nature is earth. It'll explain how easily you tracked me. I'm not even able to do that."
"I'm not even able to do that," I mocked him under my breath and then sighed, "Oh man, I wanted wind or lightning. Actually no, I want wind. I know looks aren't important, especially on the battlefield, but I'd rather have windswept hair instead of looking like the energizer bunny."
There was a moment of silence, "What?"
"You know," I waved my hands in the air like it would magically help understand, "The energizer bunny, a battery brand... I give up. I don't think I have the patience tonight to explain my references."
Kakashi gave an unsure nod, "Tomorrow, after we buy your clothes. I'll test your ninjutsu and ability to manipulate chakra. I'm sure it will come easy to you, but I'll need to be sure."
"You have such high hopes for me," I raised my brow slowly, "Why? Why did you easily believe what the old man said? Believe that I was a Gensai, when minutes before you had a knife to my throat. You don't seem like a man to trust so easily, why me? Why is it about me that is so different?"
