That moment

Anna's POV

After hearing Alex's phone call I started to re-gather my things. It took me quite long since I was thinking about what I could do to help her. I walked out of my trailer and I hear the soft sound of crying... it was coming from Alex's trailer. I walked over quietly. I was about to open the door when I heard the faint sound of a guitar and through the window I saw Alex with her eyes closed that's when I decided to go in.

I slowly opened the door and I know she didn't notice I walked in. I saw her open her mouth but no sound came from it. Then in the heat of the moment I started singing. I knew that song. 'Your song' by Elton John. I love it so much. I could see the tears coming out of her closed eyes and dripping on the guitar.

As I sang the last line to the song she opened her eyes... her beautiful hazel eyes and I almost cringed at how much sadness I saw. Looking into those deep eyes, that reminded me of a vulnerable child I felt sadness and the urge to protect her. Without thinking I opened my arms and hugged her... interestingly enough she hugged me back. No words where needed to complete this moment.

After a few seconds of hugging I felt her start sobbing a little. I hugged her tighter and said. "Sweety it'll be alright." I don't normally use words like sweety but with Alex I can't suppress the feeling like I need to protect her.

Hours felt like minutes and I had been holding and consoling Alex for a long time but for some reason I don't seem to mind.

Alex spoke up lifting her head from my chest chuckling a little. "Sorry about that... I mean.... Sorry." I chuckled at how akward she was. "Don't worry Alex. It's ok." I gave a slight pause. "So what is this all about?" I know exactly what's wrong but...

Alex laughed, like literally laughed.. I was glad to see her smile but what the heck was she laughing about.

"Hailee did warn be about how much of a bad lier you are which is funny since your and actress." She laughed even more at my confused face. "Ana I think you know exactly what happened... your face is giving it away. I mean it's kinda like funny but... wait you heard my conversation." She frowned.

"By mistake. I was just coming to get my stuff from my trailer and I heard your voice so I went to check if you were ok. I then noticed that you where in a situation in which you wouldn't have wanted to be disturbed and I though that it would be better if I didn't go up to you." I said all of that with very fast talking. I could see Alex's serious face she then nodes and says she understands. A fraction of a second later she burst out laughing.

"You are just so funny when your explaining yourself. You talk real fast and you get all formal." She had to pause to breath because she was laughing so hard. I noticed that her laugh is silent to all I could see was her holding her stomach.

I smile because I can see that she's back and I'm happy.
