"The Stirrings. They've awakened." My eyes searched the enviornment surronding me. Where was I? Shivers ran down my spine, making me realize that I was wet.

"Xavier? I that you?" A small-feminine voice spoke. I turned to the cause. A fragile girl stood before me, starring at Xavier with needy eyes. I cocked my head to the side as if a confused dog.

"Ariel?" He stood and walked to the girl, Ariel. His arms wrapped around her instantly. My heart thudded in worry, competition. However, I held my feelings in. I took a deeper look at Ariel. She was carved from God himself.

Her eyes held a deep brown as her hair held the same shade. Her skin was as soft and pale as the clouds. Jealousy turned my insides. She's gorgeous.

I shook off the feelings of the devil, turning away from them. "Ms. Wolfee, you must come with me, at once." Black shoes. My eyes traveled up the man's body slowly, taking in every detail. He was wearing a black suit, it fit him perfectly.

My eyes found their way to his perfectly defined jaw, his gold eyes peirced through me. HE looked down upon me as if I was nothing. Nothing. His gaze made me want to shrink within a hole and die. He snarled, "Now!" My eyes widened, the council.

Why do they want me? I didn't do anything... I stood shakily, as I did when my name was called at the ceremony of Eighteen. He turned sharply, walking foward.

A million questions were running throughout my head as I followed him. Oh you're in for it Athena. They're gonna kill you. I'm so dead.

The man didn't say a word to me as he led me back to the castle. How did I get here? I just remember waking up behind the waterfall.

He led me to a part of the castle that I didn't know of. He pushed the doors open and looked at me for the first time since instructing me. "Don't speak unless being spoken to, your King will be here shortly, as well your Guardian." I furrowed my eyebrows but complied.

Whispers surronded me as I walked into... a court? Oh hell, what did I do? Father, bless my soul. They all stopped when I sat. The doors opened once again as Xavier and Unique walked into the court. Xavier sat next to the judge as Unique sat in the chair next to me.

We were seated in two chairs in the middle of the room. About 200 jury surronded us, there was the judge in the high seating. My grandparents beside him as well as Xavier. He looked down at me in disgust. His jaw was set in a line that would make a 90 degree angle jealous.

I tore my eyes away from his and back to the judge. "Quiet down everyone! Archer, bring in the man!" The guy who led me here rolled in an old man. The old man was dead. I sucked in a breathe... who did that to him?

"This evening we are called on behave of a murder. Ms. Athena Wolfee has yet to be punished guilty, which in result, would place her life in eternal tourture and replace her crown, or, pleaded innocence." The blood inside of me rushed, like a river against a rock, just pounding, persistently. I didn't kill that man! I didn't know who he was!

"We are given the proof of the DNA of her touch upon his throat. However, before this man died, he had spoken of something, something dark. So we've discussed the matter upon ourselves to let Ms. Wolfee speak for herself. So Ms. Wolfee, speak upon your behave." My eyes shut.

I didn't know. I don't know. My voice was small, "I don't- I don't know sir, I did- didn't kill him though!" Voices rised in anger around me. I stood in fear. What are they talking about? "Silence!"

I looked at the judge pleadingly, then at my grandparents. They gave looks of pity. Though, Xavier's look hurt me the most, it held repulsive thoughts. I collapsed to my knees in defeat. "Ms. Wolfee, we must use the Oracle, but, with your permission. This serum of Oracle will forever scar you, it will be a deadly possibility."

Thud. My head pounded in testimony, screaming at my human instincts. Survive. Survive. I looked around me. God, I'm scared. Everyone looked at me.

'God dammit Athena be courageous.' Sage growled within me. My body tembled, my hands gripped the chair I was sitting in. I nodded frantically. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? A part of me screamed into my ear.

A group of Nursers brought a ball in front of me. I knew what to do. I learned this in year Seventeen, I took a class for Oracles. I placed my hands in the bowl, a scorching hot trail was left behind on my hands as I took them out of the bowl.

I screamed, biting my lip to subside the pain. Whips were lashed at my back, forming a river of blood. I screamed with each lash, throwing my body to the group. "Stop! Stop this!" A growl that sounded so faint was heard.

My vision became blurry, a unknown source took over my body, as a posession. "You think you can stop me Stirrings! You think you can destroy what I've created! I am the Emperor of your soul! Rabbia. Rabbia. Rabbia!"

What I saw was like a movie within me. My hair grew to new lengths and new colors. Red, like fire. My voice pierced through thair, cutting it slowly. Tourturing every person in the room. A black shadow stood in front of me, thrashing in someone's hold.

The faces around me were blurred.

"Get off of her! Luna Rossa! Luna Rossa!" The pain inside my heart blew away. My vision was clear. All that was left was the adrenaline in my blood.

I looked up from my crouching position. Xavier was thrashing. Two guards pulled at his body. Xavier's stare glared into me. Making me feel alive, making be feel dark, like blood, Making me feel light, like moon.

His eyes held an emotion unreadable. Not pity, not worry, but exhaustion.

My heart tinged in pain, he thought of me as a burden.

"Take her to the cages." Xavier's order made my heart thudder in fear.
