"JESSIE! HURRY UP OUT OF THE BATHROOM!" Will could hear his sister Cecily yell from down the hall, and the faint sound of Justin Beiber's song 'Sorry" floating down the hall too; " I'm almost finished, can't a lady do her makeup in peace?!"
Will ambled down the hall to help his sister; he wasn't fond of Jessamine, and he rather enjoyed tormenting her. He didn't even really know why she lived in the same boarding house as him, Cecily, his best friend, Jem, Cecily's best friend, Sophie, and their childhood friends, Gideon and Gabriel; " You know, Jessamine, I know where you keep your diary hidden away, and I have a hunch you don't want other people on campus knowing your inner most secrets," Will said with mischievous tone to his voice "I suggest you let Cecily here into the bathroom or everyone in my English Literature class will know about the time you-"
The bathroom door suddenly unbolted
"You wouldn't dare"
"Oh, but I would"
A Jessamine with thickly applied foundation ran out of the bathroom, "thanks,
Will," Cecily said "that was a clever bribe."
Just then, Jem walked by carrying what looked like some sort of green smoothie " Good morning, Herondales,"
Hey, Jem" Will and Cecily both said,
"I was just walking back from the café on campus, when I saw this girl walk into the house next door, she had brown hair and large gray eyes, you ever seen her?"
"Nope, never, I just thought those weird students called the Darks lived there with Axel "the disturbed one" Mortmain and Nate Gray lived there"
Cecily then suggested " maybe she is a sibling or girlfriend of friend of-" but before she could finish, there was a loud crash next door
"Well, let's go find out".
