I woke up to my boyfriend, Dan, leaving little pecks all over my face, "Babe, come on. It's time to get up."
We were leaving for Disney World today! Dan finally got a vacation from touring with Newsies, so we decided to do something just the two of us. The only thing I regret is booking the flight at 7 in the morning.
I took the pillow out from under my head and smacked Dan with it.
"Hey! What was that for?"
He looked so innocent, sitting next to me in our bed wearing a Buzz Lightyear onesie, I couldn't help but laugh.
After I reluctantly got out of bed, we finished packing the essentials, and got an uber to the airport.
Our flight wasn't supposed to board for another hour, so I laid my head on Dan's shoulder and fell into a light sleep.

We finally got to Orlando, Florida, around noon, and got onto the Magical Express, which is the bus that takes you from the airport to your hotel. Dan still hasn't told me where we are staying yet, so I am super excited to find out.
I smirked at him. "So, Danny, wanna tell me what hotel we're staying at?"
The bus stopped in front of the nicest hotel on Disney property: The Grand Floridian. "This one." He said casually, grabbing my hand. We walked off the bus and were greeted by a doorman.
"Check in is right through these doors to the left." He said, opening the door for us.
This hotel was amazing. It was designed to have a renaissance feeling: it reminded me of the scene in Mary Poppins when they jump into the chalk drawing.
Dan came over and kissed my forehead, "Do you like my choice?"
My face erupted into a huge smile, "I love it! You know that I've always wanted to stay here."
We got comfortable in our room, then left to spend the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom.
Walking up Main Street, U.S.A., I felt at home again. Dan grabbed my hand and I squeezed it.
Completely forgetting about dinner, we spent the rest of the day going on the rides, watching the parades, and spending way too much money shopping.
"Dan, can we go watch the fireworks?" I begged, leading my boyfriend to a bench in front of the castle. He agreed, so we sat there, my head on his shoulder, until Wishes started.
At the end of the show, Dan got up and faced me, and a photographer stepped up next to us. Oh my god. I never thought this was going to happen today.
Dan grabbed my hands and his eyes became watery, "Natalie, I love you so much. Your smile brightens up a whole room. Your laugh makes me feel safe. Your personality makes everyone who meets you fall in love with you, and your kindness is something I strive to meet every day. I promise that if you spend the rest of your life with me, I will make you happy every day, even when we're fighting. I will always protect you, even when I might be scared too. I will even watch the Bachelor with you, and make bets on who he'll pick. I couldn't imagine not waking up to your beautiful face next to me every day."
Oh my god.
My hands were trembling.
Dan brought them up to his lips and kissed the back of my hand gently.
He got down on one knee, and the camera flashed.
As he pulled the velvet box out of his back pocket, people around us cheered.
I looked at my boyfriend through my tear filled eyes.
He opened the box and the camera flashes again.
"Natalie, will you marry me?"
