I came out of the shower dried my short dark hair and looked in the long mirror in my bedroom, and I realise the small dark bruising on my pale shoulders from when Benji held onto them when we made love, I ignore it and put underwear on and jeans, shirt and jacket then head down stairs towards the kitchen where Benji had made eggs, bacon and toast, we ate with a comfortable silence, before, Benji then left to go and have a shower.
After cleaning up the kitchen I grabbed my car keys, wallet and brushed my hair and spiked it up with a bit of jell, I then headed towards the spare bathroom by the living room shaved quickly and brushed my teeth.
I check the time on my phone 11:30am an hour till our reservation, I go and wait by the front door.
"Hurry up we are going to be late" I call up to Benji
"Yeah I am getting dressed" Benji calls back.
Benji comes downstairs not long after his reply , he stops for a moment looking at me he taps a finger underneath his nose, I do the same and look at my finger and there is blood.
I head to the spare bathroom and grab tissue and dab it under my nose but it didn't stop the bleeding. I hold the tissue under my nose and quickly grab more when that one quickly is drenched in blood.
I go through the hole roll of toilet roll and grab a new roll, run out to the car when I realise the time is 12:00.
"Ash are you ok" Benji asks with concern as he slips into the drivers seat
"Yeah I think it will stop soon" I say with a weak smile, I keep one hand holding tissue to my nose whilst I hand Benji my car keys.
