Ch. 5 Let's Go Ice Skating!

I soon come down stairs and I am now in my full attire of normal comfy clothes which is sweatpants, slippers, and a big hoodie. I look to see he is sitting on my living room couch playing with a little snowflake. I smile as I watch him. When he  suddenly looks over and sees me. The snowflake disperses and Jack sits up quickly. " Aw you looked so cute playing with that snowflake though. " I say in a baby voice. He looks at me with a slight blush. " You were taking to darn long I had to do something. " he responded. I chuckle as I walk over to the couch ad sit next to him. " So what do you wan to do Mr. Frost since I'll be judged if I hang with you outside. " I spoke moderately. He leaned back and put his arms behind his head. " I don't know Snowflake, but I'm pretty comfy so why don't we just relax here." I look at him with a disappointed glare, shoving his side with my elbow. " Ow!" he bellowed out. Holding his side and leaning over the couch. I grin and then say " C'mon what happened to my fun filled exciting Jack that I know!" He looked at me. Frowning, he said " Well all the fun things I do are outside and you'll be judged if you're out there. " I sigh. " Yeah that's true. " I put my arm on my knee and hold up my head with my hand, slouching my back. Jack glances at me and then frowns. I get tired of the quiet and say " If only there was somewhere we could go and no one would see us so we could just be together and hang out." I blushed at the thought though. Being alone with him. { I wonder what would happen?} I think to myself. Soon shaking my head, flustered. { What am I thinking! Gah! Stupid teenage brain !! } I say in my head as I shake it some more. Without warning, Jack suddenly stands up in front of me with a big smile on his face. I look at him. " What's up?" I question. He holds out his hand. " I know a place where we can be alone and no one can find us. " He said confidently. At first I am startled but soon move my hand towards his and grasp his cold skin. I feel the cold of his hand move to mine as he lifts me up and starts to pull me towards the patio door. " Wait! I need my coat and shoes. " He looks at me and then looks at the ground thinking about something. He look back at me and says, " Just get your coat." I look at him questionably. " But I need my shoes if we go outside ? " He smiled. " Not where we're going. " I gulp as I go to get my coat, leaving the thick winter boots behind. We walk through the patio door which I hesitantly stop at the edge. He looks back at me. " Whats wrong ?" I look at the snow below me. " My feet will get frostbite if I stay out here without shoes. " I dance in place slightly jumping wanting to go with him but still fear of the cold snow below me. He looked at me quizzically. " Don't you like the snow?" I look at him plainly. " Duh of course I do but I would like protection from it so it don't die from it. " I say looking back at the snow again. He groans, soon walking towards me. I look up at him in surprise and squeak as he puts his arms around me and begins to lift me. " W-what are you doing!!??" I hold tightly to him. He grins as he drops me slightly to get a better grip. I squeak again as he then puts one of his arms under my legs and his other under my back. My hands soon resting around his neck. I look up at him as he looks at me and I'm close to his face. I blush as I look away slightly. He smirks as he walks out to the middle of my backyard. Jack looks at me again with confidence as he says. " Ready?" I look up at him and question. " R-ready for what? Exactly? " he sighs as he soon jumps up and we are floating in the air. I yelp as I hold around him tighter. He grunts as I slightly pull him down, which again made me yelp. " Would You Keep Still For God Sakes! " he snaps at me. " I-I thought you said you wouldn't lift me in the air anymore!" I say still clinging to him. He sighs, " Look this is the quickest way to where I need to go and I promise I won't drop you like before, unless you squirm." I look at him and slightly loosen my grip but of course not to much. " Thank you " he replied under his breath.  I feel the wind get stronger as we are soon moving through the sky. In the beginning, my head was buried in the safety of Jack's hoodie, but as the cold winter wind blew on my face gently and softly as we flew I looked around the sky and looked below and saw all the passing people and lights. I smiled as I watched them, within minutes,  my fear turned into laughter. I smiled as I was with Jack and he smiled, pleased that I was enjoying myself. What felt like seconds I soon saw an opening in the forest we were  headed for. I moved my head around trying to see if there was any significant thing about the opening but all I saw was a frozen lake. We come closer to the opening and Jack slightly began to move down towards the lake. As we settle he gently starts to put me down, I jolt up. " No ! It will be cold!" I cry out. He looked at me sternly. " I'm cold and you seem to have no problem. " I thought about it and saw that he was right so maybe the ice wouldn't be as cold as I thought. He goes to put me down which this time I actually do, and not to my surprise the ice was extremely cold. I groan. " Ugh liar it's really c-cold." I say jogging in place. He chuckles well that wont be a problem for long. His hand lay behind him. I look at it confused. " Jack? What are you hiding?" He sighed " well I know you didn't want to freeze your feet off so I brought these. " He pulled out some old skates that were brown and tan almost like leather. I widen my eyes, then look at Jack. He smirks and says genuinely, " (Y/n), will you do me the honor of skating with me?" I blush as I look at the skates and then back at Jack. He stares at me with his ice blue eyes, which bring me to my knees. ( not literally ) I giggle as I reply " Of course I'll skate with you idiot." His face brightens as he kneels down. " May I ?" he says gesturing to the skates. I shake my head, While his cold hands wrap around my ankles and he gently slides my feet into them. I feel a shiver go up my spine. When he finishes I fall forward, off balance right into his chest. I blush as he chuckles above me. I stand up again as he holds my hands, my legs wobbly but I manage to keep balance. He starts to move backward which leads me forward. I gasp in surprise but stay in line with him and my body stays straight. He laughs as he starts to pull along a little faster, his feet gliding across the ice and his smile brightening up the scenery. I laugh along as soon our skating soon becomes a cold winter waltz. He holds one of my hands and the other arm wrapped around my waist. My right hand holding his, and my other gently placed on his shoulder. We dance in the afternoon air and my feet become more easily movable and light. I soon let go of his grasp and begin to skate on my own, spinning slowly around and circling him in the center of the lake. He laughs as he watches me skate round and round him. I go straight for him which he unexpectedly instead of moving out of the way,  embraces me with his arms and we spun around in a little circle before subsiding into a stand still. My face is in his chest and his chin resting on my head. I feel him move his head down and his cool lips press against my forehead. I blush as I think to myself,  { Am i falling for Jack Frost?}. My mind drifts off as Jack soon moves his head and I feel his cold hand under my chin which slowly moved my face upward to look at him. I feel my heart beating fast and my face hot. He smiles and says gently " Your so warm... Any warmer and I may melt in your arms. " I couldn't say anything for I was once again caught in his chilled blue gaze. I saw his face get closer to mine and my body couldn't move. I could feel the chilled breath from his mouth as he came closer and closer. I was about to almost push myself at him, when instead ..... I pushed away. Jack stopped in his tracks and asked " (Y/n) ? Are you alright ?" I soon feel myself shiver as I fall to my knees. " (Y/n) !!" Jack cried out as he kneels down beside me and notices. My face was blue and my temperature began to get too hot. " Oh No! You need to go home!" he said as he scooped me up in his arms. He flew up into the air and I could feel the wind was powerful this time and pushed against Jack. I shivered as I whispered out. " J-Jack ?" I looked up at him but he stared head on determined to get me home. I sigh as I let my head fall back into his chest. Us nearing my house, but before we could reach, I become unconscious.
