Ch.11 The Gaurdians

Jack's POV

I silently flew up to ( Y/n ) 's window and put my hand on the glass. I put my hands over my eyes trying to look in as much as possible. Just between a crack of ( Y/n ) 's curtains, I saw her cute face, laying peacefully on her pillow. I smiled for the moon shined right through the crack and lit up her beautiful face, her rosy cheeks, her adorable lips, and her precious eyes, that lay closed from the tiring day. I felt my face flush with heat as I covered my eyes with my hoodie. " She's so gorgeous, even when she sleeps." I chuckle to myself. " I love you snowflake." I said to myself as I took another glance at her. With a sigh and a smile I lept from her windowsill and into the air. I could feel my heartbeat a million times over. I felt a surge of adrenaline pass through me as I yelled into the night with glee. The wind pulling me through it's strong current and into the night sky. 

~Time Skip~

I soon arrived at the north pole, where North allowed me to stay. I was so happy when I got there, I guess I didn't realize that I was humming with a small jump in my step. When I soon noticed a bunch of the yetis and elves asleep on top of each other. I quickly stopped movement and tip-toed the rest of the way down the hall. There were some cookies left on a counter top which I secretly took and shoved into my mouth. Surprisingly they were still a little warm. Well I guess when you live here, cookies are always a must. I continued my way down the hall and then soon found a door, well my door. I opened it slowly so it wouldn't make too much noise. I closed it carefully and then jumped onto my bed. I put my arms under my head and stared up at the ceiling. I was staring into space for a while, until ( Y/n ) 's face emerged out of nowhere. I quickly blushed and covered my eyes with one of my arms. " Oh no, she's gonna be all I think about now isn't she?" I said to myself. I moved away my arm and looked at the ceiling again with a sigh. I smiled, " It's inevitable, with such a face like her's, it's hard to forget." I turned in my sleep and layed on my side as I soon closed my eyes and went to bed. 

~The Next Morning~

I woke up groggy, my eyes felt so heavy it felt like Sandman pelted me in the face with dream sand. I sat up in my bed and rubbed my eyes. My hair curled and stood up in different directions as I stretched out my arms and legs. Then getting out of bed and grabbing my stick that lie next to my bed, leaning against a small side table. I walked out of my room rubbing my eyes, everyone else wide awake and the fresh smell of cookies in the air. I smiled as I waved at some of the yetis and almost tripped on one of the elves. I laughed as I then went upstairs to go wake up North. I was apparently his alarm clock. I soon went to a large door and knocked on the carved wooden frame. " North? " I listened for a response. " You up big guy? " I said to the closed door. I went to grab the knob when I was suddenly pulled in and the door was locked behind me. I fell onto the floor as I quickly turned around and looked around the room. " What the Heck?" The three guardians were all in the room and North stood by the door. " Um, I didn't know we were having guests North. " I spoke at him. He pointed at me, " I called them because of you." I sat up. " What did I do?!" I exclaimed. Tooth looked at me worriedly, " North said that you have been disappearing randomly throughout the weeks. Without telling him." Jack stood up and brushed his sleeves as he thought about it. " Yeah Mate, what's that about?" Bunny asked. North stepped in front of me. " You aren't getting into trouble are you? I don't like it when you hide things from me, Jack." I stepped back cautiously. " Whoa! Whoa! I can explain. " They all looked at me ready for an answer. " I-I go out with a friend sometimes and we hangout. " North spoke out, " What friend? What's his name?" Tooth moved in closer. " Jack are you in trouble? You can tell us the truth." I stepped back more. " No. NO! I'm not in trouble I promise, everything's fine I just hangout with a friend." Bunny hopped forward, " Well answer the question what's his name? " I looked at them concerned. With a big sigh and put my hand on the back of my neck. " More like....What's her name? " I spoke softly. There was silence in the room before Tooth burst into giggles and the baby Tooth's around her started chirping. Bunny stood up straight and smirked. " Oh, I get it now." North was still standing firm. " What do you mean? What's her name?What do you get? " Sandman who had been quiet the whole time ( obviously ) stepped forward and made a big heart with his golden sand and made kissy faces. I blushed and turned away. " See this is why I didn't tell you guys. " Tooth giggled as she went over to me. " Ooooh come on Jack, you didn't have to hide your girlfriend from us. " she said nudging my side. Bunny chuckled, " Your a growing boy it was gonna happen sometime before you fell in love with someone." I looked at him with an annoyed expression. North stood up straight. " Wait ? So Jack has a girlfriend. That's what this was about?" I nodded my head, embarrassed by the way they said it. North burst out laughing. " Well of course, this is wonderful news. "He flew his arms open and squeezed me tightly. " We celebrate with cookies and fruitcake Tonight!! " he yelled as he opened the doors to the hallway and began yelling at yetis to start ovens and hot chocolate machines. " No. No. North, you don't need to ... ugh." He was already gone running to the giant kitchen. Tooth laughed, " Oh how great, he's so happy for you Jack." I chuckled, " Heh, yeah I guess." Bunny looked over. " Geez he thought you were in serious trouble mate, but you were just out with a lady friend. " He chuckled and hopped out of the room. " Hey North save some frosting for me." Bunny yelled as he went down the hall,Tooth soon following. I went to the outside of the door and shook my head rubbing my eyes. I felt a gentle touch on my shoulder  as I saw Sandman pat my shoulder with his glowing smile. I smiled back and watched him follow the others. I watched him leave and stretched my body. " Whelp, it's gonna be a long night." I then started my way down the hall whistling a tune and following the sweet scent of gingerbread and sugar cookies.
