Chapter four: Naughty yes?

Alice P.O.V

"So does this mean you'll have to go away?" Metry and Cam come back and start telling me about some rival, not going into much detail though but I know he has orders to get rid of him and that his name is 'Salvaggio'.

"No I don't need to go away but I won't be as much especially at night but I will still be here. Cameron won't be able to stay either he'll be out with me and the others." He didn't say anything else about other's.

"Who else is going to be working with you?" I look over at Cameron and he looks the other way, scratching the back of his neck. "Uh--Colton and...Tommy." He seems hesitant to speak their names. I haven't spoken to Colton in a while and for Tommy...well we all know about him. Demetrius looks at me with caution probably thinking I will be upset by the mention of his name.

"Oh well I hope you get the guy and don't do anything dumb." Him and Cameron chuckle after I say this. "What's so funny?"

"That's what Taretto said he was talking mainly about me and Tommy." This is what I was thinking along with him about to kill some people. "Yeah."

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" Cameron interrupts. "Yeah. I'll be right back, give me a kiss." He says in more of a cute whisper, well hot and sexy really. Of course I give him one and he's off.

Their having a long conversation I'm sitting here with Salvina.

"Mommy I'm hungry."

"Okay baby let's get you something to eat." I stand and she jumps onto my leg. She sits on my foot and I try my hardest to keep walking and make it to the kitchen counter.

"Okay what do you want mommy to make you?" I look down at her, she still sits on my foot looking up at me. She scrunches up her nose and thinks.

"Hmm--mac 'n' cheese!" She hops up and down. "Coming right up baby cakes." I slide over to the cabinet and look for what I need to make my baby girl her mac 'n' cheese.

I sit her in the dining room to eat her food and go back to the kitchen and clean up what I took out. I hear talking and don't turn to see Demetrius and Cam finally done talking. I bend to put something away and one calls out for my attention.

"Hey." I stand and turn not expecting my eyes to lay on what stands on the other side of the counter. "How are you?" This isn't going to end well. "Fine." My eyes look him, them up and down. It's Colton and his brother. "That's great." His eyes mysterious. Tommy stands behind him with his head tilted to one side his hands in his pockets. My reaction to seeing Tommy was to immediately grab by stomach, why I don't know.

"Mommy I'm done!" I hear Salvina yell from the dining room. "Mommies coming." I kinda yell back. My eyes still on them two as I slide my way out from behind he counter, I can feel both of their eyes on me . I go and get her along with her mess and walk her back into the kitchen.

Where the hell is Demetrius and Cameron?

I put the stuff in the sink and turn to see Salvina staring at them. They both look at her but not with that hungry look. They just seem in awe. Colton more than Tommy actually. Tommy has his face set in stone, head still tilted and hands still in his pockets.

I look back to them and their eyes are back on me.

"She's beautiful." Says Colton. I don't know what to say really or if I should even say anything at all. But... "Thank you." He smiles weakly like he means it but is disappointed. Most likely because this beautiful baby isn't his. I pick her up and hold her on my hip.

"You been feeling okay--Alice?" My eyes pray that Colton's lips are moving..but their not, it was Tommy asking the question. The tone of voice chilling, brings back memories. Terrible memories.
