Demetrius P.O.V
Fuck my head hurts.
I wake up in the infirmary with a sore ass body.
The lights are dim and the bed not so comfy.
I hear the door open and turn to see the doc coming in with paper in his hands.
"Look who's finally up. You feeling okay?" He approaches with one hand in his pocket. Him just as bad as the rest of us in here. He always thought he was better than the rest of us.
He's nothing.
"Sore but concious, I guess that's better right."
He smiles and lifts the paper. Letting out a breath of air he then speaks.
"Your looking pretty good considering the ass beating you got. No broken bones. Just a couple of bruises and scrapes. You can get up any time you want. I can offer you pain meds but-"
"No I'm fine I need to see Alice."
Then I remember.
"How's Cameron?" I sit up and swing my legs off the side of the bed. My back still lathered with pain along with my neck and shoulder but other then that I'm pretty okay. "He's perfectly fine he was up about an hour ago, he went back to Alice also."
Back to Alice.
"Oh."
"Yeah, he's got pretty much the same injuries as you, he just got up before you."
Now he's just getting on my nerves.
"Alright doc I'm gonna go now."
I stand and go to walk past but doc nudges his shoulder into mine. I stop and glare at him, him not backing down in the glare off isn't a surprise, he's not bitch. Just a doc. In this place that means shit to the rest of us.
What his problem is with me I have know clue and I don't really give a fuck.
I ignore him and continue out of the door, back to Alice and baby Salvina.
~~~~~
I limp down the hall and hear a voice from behind me.
"Hey, Demetrius wait up."
I don't stop my limping, still walking I'm caught up to by Colton. What could he possibly want?
"How you feeling?"
How many times am I going to be asked in one fucking day?
"Better."
I don't wanna talk to this guy.
"I wanna talk for a second."
In my mind I'm going crazy.
"Your already talking, it's been more than a second."
"Why do you need to be such an asshole?"
"We were bred to be assholes, anything else and we have failed."
He pauses with no words at all because he knows I'm right.
"You and Alice are a thing right?" Immediately I stop in mid walk and my hands automatically ball into fists. Jaw clenched, hurting. I say no words and he knows what this means.
"It's just a question."
"You should already know the answer to your stupid question."
"Does she normally sleep naked?"
