Naia wasn't sure where her nerves for the concert had ran off towards to, since she was still overly excited, her video recordings being played over and over again – despite the fact that she was in the car of Daniel and Craig, the pair of brothers that felt like some lifesavers for her.
Okay, so honestly her plan was to ambush the Australian lads, or whatever and like make Calum fall in love with her, but her mind decided against it, and now she was in the car at the backseat, showing Craig some clips of her recording while Daniel drove them somewhere. She wasn't sure where she was anyways.
All she knew was that they rode the midnight train back to Central Station, the station where Daniel had parked his car – and she remembered getting lost on her way with the transits, and began to tell the boys on her outrageous adventure. Not like she regretted it anyways.
The trip was full on singing along to the Sounds Good Feels Good album since Craig said it was obligatory to have a post-concert depression. And as depressing as it felt, Naia thought that she ought to find some excitement from it anyways – it wasn't something usual for her to get hyped over.
They were singing along to Catch Fire, and Craig kept smacking Daniel's arm since he was singing along but he had no clue what the lyrics were. Naia laughed along, her chest heaving up and down from being too amused by the brothers. She saw Daniel winking at her from the rearview mirror, and she blushed deeply before looking away.
The night was cold, the windows of the car quite blurry since it had probably rained during the concert. She grazed her fingertips against the cold surface before closing her eyes briefly, thinking about the night that had just happened. She still couldn't believe that she did what she did, but it would always be one of those nights that she won't regret.
"We're here," Daniel said, bringing out of her sudden trance, and she jolted awake, only to be faced with a laughing Daniel and an already walking towards to the house Craig. She hurriedly grabbed the door handle before pushing it, and Daniel held the door for her as she awkwardly stood in front of him.
"This is home," He pointed towards the small house, and Naia sheepishly smiled, before Daniel urged her to get in, his palm against her lower back. She was starting to feel some kind of emotion, not something that she usually felt in the pit of her stomach, but she decided to not think so hard about it.
Walking in, she watched Craig already fitting himself on the couch, his legs sprangled across the leather design of it, and he cheekily smiled at Naia, "I get the couch, okay?"
Naia was confused, what did Craig mean by that? Turning around, Daniel was trying to tell Craig something, but stopped when he saw Naia looking at him. He instantly grinned, and Naia continued to look at him. Silently assuring him that it was best to tell.
"Okay, I don't really have a spare bedroom?" He spoke, "I have the drawing room and a toilet and the living room, so you might have to stay in a bed with me? Or I could just stay with Craig because he doesn't need it anyway," Daniel continued, ducking low since he was avoiding the pillow that Craig threw at him. Naia simply laughed, a bit nervous about what Daniel said – but not really bothered.
"Yeah, sure," She shrugged, "Okay."
Smiling, Daniel showed her the way to his room – not before having a little tour of the kitchen; the place where he kept his bodies, or the bathroom; where he washed the blood of his shirts, and his drawing room; which wasn't really joked about since he was a bit shy to show it off but Naia pushed him away just so she could walk around the room.
And after simple stories about different buildings and rooms, he ushered her out of the room –he forced her to get out since she wanted to stay and hear more about his work, but the blush that was on his face made her so amused by the fact that he was embarrassed so he had no other choice then to lift her body and slung it over his shoulders.
Despite the constant squealing and pleading from Naia to put her down, Daniel called Craig out from the drawing room and the both of them tackled her once she was being put down on his bed. The laughter coming out of her lips was contagious, something that Daniel never wanted to stop listening to.
After something about Craig saying about having to pee from laughing so hard, he dismissed himself – not before winking at his older brother and Daniel shook his head, not really sure to be annoyed or pleased, maybe he should do stuff with his brother often.
Then, there were left two. Naia was still grinning hard, after having trouble breathing. Daniel watched from his door as she sat up on the bed, her arms held back and her ponytail ruined, but no one really cared at the moment. She still looked beautiful, nevertheless.
"Okay," she brushed her hand through her hair, trying to fix it, "That tired me out."
He smiled, "Want a change of clothes?" He questioned, "I mean to make yourself comfortable, y'know?" Daniel walked over so he had a perfect view of her.
"Sure," Naia hesitated, worried he might hand her some t-shirt and nothing else. She wasn't sure if she should even wear his clothes, but it wasn't like she didn't want to. "Just yeah, something comfortable, okay?" She tried to hint, and she hoped Daniel got the message.
Daniel nodded, heading for his dresser and getting his favourite shirt –not like she knew about it – and grabbed a pair of sweatpants before throwing it her way. He cheekily grinned at her, and she hopped off the bed, not before grinning happily at him. "I'll be back."
He couldn't believe how real she was, but decided to let it pass. She was amazingly modest, and even though being really shy at first, he was glad she was slowly opening up. He changed his clothes too, grabbing a new shirt and his striped sleeping pants before laying on his bed, checking his phone for notifications.
In the corner of his eye, he saw her walk in –cute and cuddly since his clothes were a large fit on her body – and he struggled to strain in a chuckle, but once she put aside her clothes next to the dresser, and hopped onto the bed again, he began laughing so hard, she was taken aback of it, and looked at him weirdly.
"You look really cute in my clothes," he smiled, "I mean, they're really large." He continued to laugh and she failed in maintaining a straight face and fell in a fit of giggles later on.
"I thought you were teasing me though," she pouted, "like how I dress up weird, and you gave me these clothes and I just felt like you were making fun of me." Her small voice made Daniel jolt up in his seat and he immediately waved his hands in the air for her to stop talking.
"Hold up, missy," he quirked an eyebrow, "I wasn't making fun of you, and I don't care if you wear clothes or you don't – because I don't mind it because it's you we're talking about. Okay? I mean, I don't care if anyone wears anything, but in this case, it's you and I like everything you do." He looked her straight in the eye, and Naia swore her throat was suddenly blocked by a large lump and his words meant everything to her. "Shit, I'm rambling, and I don't know why." He was starting to laugh, and Naia smiled so wide, it hurt.
"Okay, okay," she assured, before lying down on the other side of his bed, and he watched as she yawned and he decided to join her lying down as well. She turned around and laid on her side, only to be shocked once she was met with Daniel's eyes looking at her. Smiling, she playfully smacked his cheek, but he grabbed her wrist and held her hand to his face, their eyes never leaving each other.
"Do you still believe that you love Calum?" He asked silently, not wanting to distract her.
Smiling, "Surprisingly, I don't think so." She answered, her eyes not leaving his.
"Good."
"Why good?" She asked, wanting an honest answer.
"Because that means, I have a chance." He smiled, crossing his arms and putting it behind his head.
If only he knew that Naia was already hooked on his anchor.
