I sat down at my normal table, but this time I sat where I had a clear view of Ryan and Kayla. I smiled as I ate my apple, knowing that any minute now, they would be broken up and I would have 1,000 dollars, minus about 25, which I am using to break them up.
I sat up straight when I saw a tall, pretty, red haired girl walk into the lunch room. I knew her, for she was my one and only friend, Rachel, who just so happens to be my neighbor and goes to another school, which totally sucks. You might be wondering why she is here, in the lunchroom. Well that is because she is my key to breaking up Kayla and Ryan.
Her eyes scanned the lunch room and when they found me she smiled. I reached in my backpack and pulled out my cell phone. I used speed dial one,
"Yes?" I heard her question over the phone.
"Okay now, Kayla and Ryan are about two tables in front of you, they are currently-"
"Surrounded by a billion people that are sucking up to them?" She said cutting me off.
"Wow, your good." I stated.
“Why thank you, now let me hang up so I can do my job and go back to my school.”
“Wait!” I shouted and stood up at the same time. I soon realized that was a mistake, because when I did that everyone turned and looked at me. I shyly smiled and slowly sat down, soon everyone turned back to their lunches and friends. I did end up noticing though a pair of eyes staring at me, Ryan’s. I glared at him and soon he winked at me and turned back to Kayla. My mouth dropped; did he just wink at me?
“Earth to Cora,” I heard Rachel say on the other line. I shook my head trying to lose my train of thought of why in the world Ryan winked at me. He looked so damn…charming… “Cora I am seconds from hanging up on you and getting my job done here so I can go back to school.”
“Wait.” I said in a lower voice this time. “Don’t hang up, keep your phone one, I wanna hear this.” She sighed and slipped her phone in her pocket.
“So tell me what your evil mind is up too?” Samuel asked coming over to me.
“Shhh! It’s about to go down, sit, watch, and listen if you want.” I said. Samuel sat down next to me and looked forward.
“What am I suppose to be looking at?” He asked, I didn’t want to talk very much, for I would miss out on my show.
“Her.” In a quick manner I pointed to Rachel, then focused in.
“What is she going to do?” He asked as she walked up to Kayla and Ryan. I moved my phone so it would be right in between Samuel and my ears.
“OMG! Ryan! Who is this slut?!” Rachel yelled, I tried to hold my laughfter.
“Who you calling slut?” Kayla fired back.
“The little fake that stole my boyfriend.” Rachel said to Kayla.
“Boyfriend? Hell no, he’s mine.” Kayla said.
“That’s not what he was telling me a couple of days ago as we were…well I think you can put two and two together.” Kayla gasped and turned to Ryan.
“Please tell me she is lying!” Kayla shouted.
“Baby, I have never met this girl in my life. You gotta believe me. I would never cheat on you and especially someone like…her?!” Kayla huffed and sat down. She looked Ryan in the eyes.
“Ryan-“ Kayla began to say but then the unthinkable happened, the phone clicked off. And from the distance I could see Kayla saying something to Ryan, and then turned and looked at Rachel.
“Shit.” I mumbled under my breath.
“What happened?” Samuel asked.
“The phone cut off. Crap! I really wanted to hear what was going on!”
“You’re not alone,” he said.
“Oh forget this, I’m going in.” I said then got up. I slowly made my way towards Kayla and Ryan’s table. When I got to a table a few feet away I sat down. People at the table stared at me, but I paid no attention and looked over at Rachel and them.
“Ryan stop denying that you didn’t sleep with me…but you know what, fine you don’t want to admit it. One day you will remember that I rocked your world.” Rachel smirked and turned to look at Kayla. “Honey, just know that he and I did have a wonderful night a few nights ago and when it comes time for you to give what I gave, you won’t compare.” With that Rachel walked smiling from ear to ear, I smiled too. Having a feeling that what Rachel did totally but a dent in Ryan and Kayla’s relationship, and more than likely did my job for me by breaking up the ‘it’ couple…The bell rang and I stood up and walked out of the lunch room, knowing a job well done.
When I got to my locker I was surprised to see Ryan leaning up against it.
“Hello, Cora…” He said slowly with a mischievous smirk.
Oh Shit.
Couldn't sleep, so this is what you got! Hope yawl enjoy! And sorry for the errors, I will edit later on when I'm not half asleep, lol!
