Cortana opens "the message just repeats. Regret, Regret, Regret." Rachle responds. "catchy any idea what it means?" Ace answers. "dear humanity, we regret being alien bastards. we regreat coming to Earth. and we most definatly regret the core just blew up our RAGITY ASS FLEET!!!" the 2 pilots say. "horra" Cortana replies with. "Regret is a name sargent. the name of one of the Covenants religous leaders. a prophet, he's on that carrier and he's calling for help." Hood says over comms. "chief get aboard that carrier and secure the prophet of Regret. this is the only place the Covenant decided to land on Earth. that prophet is going to tell us why." moments later our pelicans are shot down by a Covey scarab.

i get to a bridge and walk over to 2 soldiers one of them says. "it blew right through us. rockets, 50 cal. didn't do a thing." we walk over to Ace who exits from a pelican after it drops a tank. Ace asks. "where's the rest of your platoon?" the soldier answers. "wasted sarg." the second says. "and we will be to ma'am if we don't get the hell out of here." Ace stops the second soldier and asks. "you hit marine?" he signs no and Ace continues. "then listen up. you had your chance to be afraid before you joined the core. but the guy you backed here. i brought this modivational devise. our big green style cannot be defeated. the chief is gonna jump in this tank. roll across the bridge, and blow up any inhuman son-of-a-bitch dumb enough to get between him and the prophet of regret. pull yourself together. because your goin with him." the first soldier asks. "what about that scarab?" Ace answers. "we've all run the simulations. their tuff but thier not invincible. stay with the master chief. he'll know what to do."
