"this thing is right. Halo is a weapon. your prophets are making a big mistake." the Elite answers. "your ignorance already destroyed one of the sacred rings demon. it shall not harm another." the creature then says. "if you will not hear the truth. then i will show it to you. there is still time to stop the key from turning. but first it must be found." it looks at me and says. "you will search one likely spot." it turns to the Elite and continues. "and you will search another. fate had us meet as foes. but this ring will make us brothers."

i roll when exiting the portal. a grunt points its needler. i say. "boo." and it throws its weapon into the air and runs away. 2 brutes block me from killing a prophet and it says. "kill the demon." they charge at me and i kill the brutes in the room. "the demon has infiltrated the hirarchs chamber. fastly seal the exits." Cortana answers. "oh i don't think so."

i drop down via gravity lift and walk over to the prophet of Mercy who is being stranged by a Flood infection form. asking. "your pal, where's he going?" the prophet answers. "Earth, to finish what we started. and this time none of you... will be left behind." i rip the infection form off this killing it and the prophet. Cortana then says. "that structure in the center of the city. its a Forerunner ship. and Truth is heading strait for it. if he leads the Covenant fleet to Earth they won't stand a chance. you have to stop him." i look at the AI hologram and say. "that brute has the index. and Ace, and Roth. he can activate the ring." Cortana answers. "if he does, i'll detonate In-amber clads reactors just like we did with the Autmn. the blast will destroy this city and the ring. not a very original plan. but we know it'll work." a pelican crashes and Flood combat forms exit.
