Fablewood. A large land, filled with villages to kingdoms, forest to dark woods. It's full of magic and stories. Everyone lives peacefully however only those who are special are the one who is visited by the Grimm Brothers. No one knows much about them. Some call them the storytellers, giving us clues of out stories to come. Both come and bless the ones who are special. One gives gifts, the other gives simple spells to which they will use and they are always used. That's the problem, they cannot be taken back. There is not arguing against them. Once the brothers have given their gifts and spells, they immediately disappear. As you can see how they cannot be argued with.

I was born on a simple spring day. My parents were happy and with no time to waste the Grimm Brothers arrived. The first brother came forth to my parents and presented a red riding hood made by the love of my grandma. She too was blessed by the Grimm to make the red riding hood for me.

Once the first brother handed over the gift to my parents, and told them, "She must wear this at all times, wherever she goes." he backs away. And the second brother steps forward and told them.

"Your daughter will be loved by all those full of kind heart. She will grow to be beautiful, wild and careless." He smiles to them warmly when he spoke but then grew dark as he frowns and said, "My, what big eyes you have. What big ears you have. What big teeth you have." At first my parents were confused but were horrid to find out it was a spell, "Once your daughter has said those words, she will forever, body and soul, belong to the Wolf."

My mother burst into tears as they disappeared like misted. My father grew mad with rage. Everyone in the village I was born knew of the dreaded wolf. Three brothers live in Fablewood and he is the oldest, the most powerful, aggressive and worse, blood thirsty wolf out of all three wolves. He has killed many people and strikes fears into everyone. And so we always leave offering for the wolf. Our elder told the wolf that the villagers would leave offering to him, as long he doesn't harm anyone from the village. Everyone was happy that he agreed to those terms, however, anyone who wanted to kill him can, they just end up dead. That's how my father died. He wanted to kill to wolf to protect me from ever belonging to him. But the wolf lived and sent my father's organs to my mother with a note:

"She will be mine. And when she is, I'll be the first to taste her blood."

The wolf has intended to kill me. This broke my mother into more tears. And so I was forbidden to ever say those words. I'm not sure what happens when I say those words. I think it might be something like I'll be bond to him or something. I don't know. The Grimm Brothers never explained full in details.

As the seasons past, at the age of five, I was told by my mother to visit grandma to give her some goodies to make her feel better. She told me to never talk to strangers and stay on the path. So I grabbed the basket and off I was with my red riding hood. Because of it, everyone nicknamed me Red. Grandma's house was on the edge of the forest, far from the village. I remember that day so well. I was young and very careless. So careless, I never realized the danger I was in. It was the day that I met the Wolf for the first time. Jet-black fur, crimson eyes and he was large, I would say the size of a horse. At that time, I had forgotten about what my mother said what not to do. At first, he was all kind and warming, no threats what so ever. I naively told him where I was going and he told me to go off the path to collect some flowers.

But as I did, he went off to Grandma's house. It was not long after that I reach Grandma's house. And there he was, in bed disguised as Grandma which I was easily fooled by with his humanize appearance, along with my grandma's clothes. I even accepted to come into bed with him when he asked in his almost perfect voice of grandma. It only took a few second to realize some odd features on my fake grandma. I was so careless. I was about to say the words however before I could go 'my', the door suddenly burst open by a heavy foot and right before my eyes, an axe when straight for the wolf's head.

A woodcutter ripped me out of bed and right beside him with another axe in hand. I looked back at my fake grandma. The blade never touched the face, the hand held the handle before casting it aside. The wolf transformed, ripping out of the grandma disguised and into huge man-like wolf, I could say a werewolf, complete fur and muzzle with sharp white teeth. His crimson eyes stared at me and only me. I was he's target and I was scared.

The woodcutter wasted no time and attacked the wolf but was easily pushed off. He walked towards me as I stood there paralyzed by fear. He chuckled. I remember it so well, it makes my skin shiver. He was about to reach out for me but the woodcutter axed him in the back, releasing out a loud howl of pain. The wolf's attention and rage went onto the woodcutter as they went for another round. The furniture was smashed into pieces, objects went flying everywhere and I still did not move.

If not for my Grandma, who hide in the closet the time the wolf came and together we escaped back to village. We all told the villagers what had happen. But words in this village are spread quickly, they already knew of the fight and that the woodcutter never made it but there was even worse news. My mother was found dead in the woods nearby the village. There were signs that the wolf did it.

I cried that night, curled up with my grandma as we decided to live together in village where it is safer than grandma's place. I made a promised to myself that I would never say those words. I promised myself that I would never belong to the wolf, while I still live.
