Putting on gaudy dresses, we crowned ourselves
the Queens of our town that was
drenched in numerous blues.I used to put flowers in your hair and
you saved my bubblegum dreams from being popped
like the fragile bubbles they had always been. Our playhouse was built with bricks of our playfulness
but, the walls were stronger than the world's evil lies.Dazzling stars pressed against the endless sky
as we sat on the swings, giggling without a care in the world.Years passed and the stars dimmed but, our
laughs still echo just as loud. When we said we would be friends for life and
be with each other through anything and everything,
we really meant it.
