Chapter 4

AN/ HEY EVERYBODY IM FINALLY UPDATING. SORRY ITS BEEN CRAY CRAY WITH FOOTBALL. WELL ENJOY MY CHILDREN.

CHAPTER 4

I awoke with a blinding white light and a headache which the light didn't help with. I looked around the room and saw white walls and a white floor, I tried moving my arms but they were held down by restraints and same with my legs. I was confused for a little bit not knowing where I was or why I was there. I lifted my head up and saw a door and a camera, "Hello? Anybody there?" I laid my head back down and relaxed a bit. I sighed and waited and waited, nobody came until for what seemed a hour or two. The door opened and in came a paler.

"Hell no! Help! Help! Somebody!" I screamed, scared out of my mind. The paler grabbed a needle and said "I don't need to use this do I?" I gulped and shook my head. "Good," he put down the needle, " now I bet you're wondering why you are here. We will move you into another room and someone will explain it to you." I nodded my head trying to calm down. "Uh so when are you going to be moving me to another room?" I asked shakingly.

"Right now!" He answered and at the same time my bed went into an upright position and started to sink into the floor. My eyes started darting around watching the walls around me move or was it I that was moving? I couldn't tell. I closed my eyes feeling like I was going to puke. I opened them after a little bit and I looked at this new room I was in. It was all white like the other room but the light was dimmer and there was already somebody waiting for me. "Hello there William." she said. This paler had long hair so I knew it was a woman alien. "How do you know my name?" I asked. It said the only thing I didn't want to hear.

"We've been watching you for a long time." Damn it why do creepy stuff like this always has that line. Why can't they say like, oh one of our people happens to live next to you or we just know from your parents. Actually now that I think about it, that would be creepier. But back to what was going on. "Yeah, and so now I guess you're gonna tell me why I'm here?" I yelled but my voice cracked at the last word.

"Yes I'm here to explain all of that. You're here because you have our race's DNA in your body which mixes with your human DNA creating something amazing!" I guess that just tells me everything doesn't it. The paler continued "What it creates is a mix in your body. This mix gives you a power, a great power, of cell transmutaition or if you will shape shifting. This has happened in many cases, when we first got here some of us mated with the human kind. When the children were born they had this power, they couldn't control it and the parent of our race had to leave before bonding with the child because earth's leaders thought it best to put us in encampments away from the humans." I started to understand what she was saying.

"But why am I here?" I yelled at her. "I am getting to that!" She screamed back at me. She took a deep breathe and continued. "So now the children are with the lonely human parent, unable to control the shape shifting and hidden from the truth about their other parent. As they grew older they learnt to control it when angry like you did. We didn't know you could change until the other day. Our agent and your friend Adam was to watch you and keep you safe, he's like you Adam he has the same powers you do." I couldn't believe it my lifelong friend was working with the palers?

"There is an exception about you though," she said and I looked at her surprised, "the regular children like you can only transform into different animals, but you, you can transform your DNA all together! You could change yourself to look like another human or give yourself super strength and speed! That's why you are still here we need to run test on you." I looked at her baffled and confused. "Why am I different? How did I get this power?" I asked.

"Usually it was the males that mated with the humans but your mother mated with your human father and since in our race both genders have different DNA but are the same race you're mother's DNA must have done this." She explained to me. I thought to myself what if I could get out of here? What if I could use my powers to leave? After thinking about it for a few seconds an explosion came from down the hall. Obviously it wasn't supposed to happen because the paler spun around in surprise. I took this as my chance and I made myself change and I could feel the strength pumping through my body.

I broke free of my bonds and punched the paler in the face and it went out. I let myself become myself again and I felt tired but I willed myself to the door I could hear gun fire coming down the hall. I didn't know it but things were about to get worse.
