"Hello William." The mysterious man said to me. The light was blindingly bright, it made it hard to see the man in front of me. "I am the captain of this ship, my name is Richard Cargin, this ship is the S.S. Augustine and you can be a prisoner or a guest on this ship. It depends on how you act and so far I'm thinking you want to be a prisoner." He chuckled and started to walk towards me and he leaned down in my face. His face was full of wrinkles and his breathe smelt as wonderful as a walrus' I screwed up my face in discomfort of the smell. "I want to help you but I can't make you look good in front of the crew if you're changing everywhere and fighting one of my commanders." He spoke the last words with distaste. I stared at him with a scowl that always told everyone to leave me alone or I'll kick your ass.
"Not going to say anything are you?" He asked quietly. I stared at him still, giving him the answer, with my cold eyes. I didn't care about this man whom chained me up like the Palers did to me. He looked at me with pity in his eyes and a little bit of sorrow before sternly saying "Take him to the park!" The bracelets around my wrists and feet were released and a pair of strong hands wrapped underneath my armpits and picked me up. What was the park I thought to myself, whoever was behind me dragged me out of a door down a long hallway. He put me in a bed and rolled me onto a platform I looked around trying to see where I was but the lights were off. I kept looking around trying to see where I am but it was so dark, a light started to shine through the floor and I could see I was in a long tube going down. Down where I didn't know I only hoped it wasn't someplace where I would be tortured or experimented on.
I kept going down and then a light shone through the tube. It was a bright light I thought was the sun but I was wrong...way wrong. I looked around and saw a big playground/amusement park, no wonder why they called it the park, the name explained itself. I looked down and around the park as the platform hit the ground. There were shadows moving around hopefully people and not some weird creature going to eat me. I looked into the sky but there was no sky, there was water all around the park, we were in a giant dome! I gasped and stared at the ceiling it was impossible! How could I be able to breathe in here? Wait the plants they must be giving off the oxygen. The platform started moving forward into a hill with an open door big enough to let the bed inside of it. As the bed slid into the hill I saw TV and a couch and a kitchen, I guess this is where I'm living for now, I thought to myself.
I got out of the bed and looked around my new prison cell/room. There was a fully stocked refrigerator, a working TV which was a surprise since we were under water, there was the neccesties in the bathroom, and there was air conditioning. This was turning out to be not such a bad place after all. I looked around and found a door I was hoping that it would go outside. I opened the door and it did go outside thank God. I ran outside to see what was going on out there, I wanted to know who or what was the shadows behind those trees. I kept running around until I got to a pool with a slide and rafts in it, Why would a pool be in this dome? I thought to myself. I walked around the side of the pool looking around in the woods and I saw some one emerging from the shadows of the trees. Her body came out into the fake sunlight and her hair swirled in the wind, wait wind? where was it coming from? occurred in my mind, but her beauty distracted me from thinking about it. Her long dark brown hair was curled and long and her hazel eyes were so beautiful I didn't want to see anything else except for that color. She was tall with a thin waist and tan skin that was so perfect it looked like she was a tanning goddess.
Her leg swung around in a high arc and she kicked me in the face, which I wasn't ready for she wouldn't have kicked me in the face or kicked me at all. As I fell to the ground I saw more people running towards me that were yelling at some one, I hope they weren't going to kill me or beat me up. I had no idea what went on afterwards I was slowly weaving in and out of consciousness but what I saw was them carrying me into a house and putting me on a bed while the girl who kicked me and a guy taller than her with blonde hair and freckles was fighting about something. Then it skipped to a small younger girl watching me and putting cookies on a table next to the bed. She was cute with curly red hair and bright smile, I finally awoke fully into consciousness afterwards. There was a bandage around my jaw and cotton balls in my mouth and my mouth tasted like dried blood. I felt around my mouth with my tongue and I felt two of my teeth were missing on the side where she kicked me which was still sore, very sore.
Someone was walking in to my room and I looked up to see who it was, it was the little girl that brought me cookies. "Did you eat the cookies yet?" she asked sweetly. I looked at the table and saw the cookies were still there, I reached out snatched a cookie then took a huge bite out of it. "They're great! Who cooked them?" I asked her with a smile on my face. "I cooked them." She answered jumping up and down with joy. A boy, that looked a few years older than me, walked in wearing a doctor's jacket and stethoscope. "How's our patient doing Sierra?" He asked the little girl while picking her up. "He is good and he likes my cookies!" She asked laughing. "Everyone loves your cookies. Now go tell everyone he's up." He lowered her on to the floor and she ran off. "How's your head?" He asked me while picking up a note board. "My head's fine but my jaw hurts like crazy." I said with pain shooting through my jaw. "Good, good, that means no concussion. Your jaw is not broken but it needs to be wrapped up for a while." He answered me. "Hey I can fix it, hold on." I said. I focused on my jaw and how it was before the girl kicked me in the face. I felt pain shoot through my jaw and mouth as it fixed itself. As the pain stopped I looked at the boy and his mouth gaped open as he looked at my jaw. "What's your name doc?" I asked as he stared. "Uh uh, It's Tommy." He answered snapping out of it. "My name is Will." I said trying not to make this awkward. "Well lets go meet everyone okay?" Tom answered, I stood up out of the bed and started walking out the door.
