Imagine:
"HURRY UP, DALTON!"
You're getting anxious because you don't want to miss the beginning of the concert. Green Day is one of your favorite bands and if Dalton made you miss ANYTHING so help you he'd be in a world of hurt. Finally, he descends the staircase in your house and you drag him out to the car. Your dad is waiting in the car. He takes one look at Dalton, all punked-out and says "Very nice, Dalton!" You roll your eyes and yell "GO, DAD!!!"
You're very early and are the first people to show up, so you're not sure where to stand. A security guard happens to be walking near you, so Dalton goes up to her and asks her where you should stand. "Wow, you two are very early. The band's not even here yet! Just stand right here. Let me get you some wristbands."
After getting your wristbands, you decide to sit down in place. You feel an arm wrap around you as Dalton moves closer to you.
"So are you excited," he asks you.
"Totally! You know Green Day is my favorite band." He pouts. "Next to IM5, of course. They're my favorite BESIDES IM5," you say as you giggle and hug him. You hear him say "Yay!" He's too precious sometimes..."Hey, check it out! These little shits beat us here!"
You're dying. Walking straight towards you and Dalton is the one and only Billie Joe Armstrong. Master musician and marvellous madman, he is perfection personified. You try your best not to absolutely not freak out, but it's damn near impossible.
"Hi," you say hesitantly.
"Hi, I'm Bill," he says nonchalantly. He hugs you and you begin to shake. Right after he hugs you, he hugs Dalton. "Hey, you're the kid from that boyband my son's girlfriend likes...I am...something, right?" Dalton is in utter shock. You have to answer for him."IM5, and yes. This is Dalton!"
"Hey, Dalton. I'm Bill." You feel another set of arms around you. Mike Dirnt, the bassist, is hugging you and you almost melt because he's so amazing! You're expecting Tre to hug you, too, but you don't see him. Shrugging, you turn back to Dalton who is fanboying incredibly hard. You smile and join in the conversation."Fly Away Hero, huh?"
"Yeah! I miss it, but I love the boys and right now I'm content doing what I am."
"Power to you, Dalton. Do what you love, man. Speaking of what you love, does this pretty little thing belong to you?"
Out of nowhere, you're lifted off the ground.
"NOT ANYMORE! WHEEEEEEEEEEE WHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Tre Cool, Green Day's drummer, has lifted you up onto his shoulders and is running around. You're laughing hysterically, as is everyone else."Tre, put her down before you hurt her!" Reluctantly, Tre puts you down. He hugs you and you walk back over to everyone. You exchange a few more words before Green Day has to go inside. Dalton eyes are swelling with tears.
"Calm down! Your eyeliner is going to run!" You wipe his tears. You've never seen him fanboy this hard. "Are you okay?""I don't know...did that really just happen," he asks flailing his arms, almost hitting you in the face.
"Yes, that just happened. I can't believe it either! Hey, you never answered Billie Joe when he asked if I was your girlfriend..." You blush because you know those weren't the words Billie used, but you're tired of waiting and you want to know what Dalton thought about your relationship."What was your answer going to be?"
He looks at you for a moment and looks away. "I...I wanted to say yes, but I didn't know how you felt."
You blush. You want to be so much more than just friends with him. He sees your face going red.
"Can we be more than just friends?" He's shocked at first, but smiles."I'd like that," he replies as he leans in to kiss you.
