I arived to the coffee house a little early and ordered a americano with cream. Then i started to scroll on my phone, and then all of a sudden Matt sat beside me and said
"You looked lonely, Lilly right?"
"Yeah and your Matt?"
"Yup, good memory!"
"Thanks your not too bad yourself."
And the awkward silence continued from there until he came back in with,
"Would you like something to drink?"
"Yeah thanks, just a refill would be great." I said with a smile.
My phone binged and i looked at it to see a message from Callie, i opened it and it read
"Hi Lilly so sorry but my teacher for PE kept it going for an extra hour! So i might be a smidge late so sorry bye, Callie!"
Ugh great and Jolan is going to be late so god knows how much small talk this will take...
Matt came back over and handed me my americano before stroking his lushes fawn hair. His brown eyes where deep like a sunset.
"So tell me about yourself?"
He asked which caught me ouy of my day dreaming.
"Ugh well....hmm, i play the violen and piano, i love to dance and bake. What about you?"
"I like the guitar and i play football, but baking has always interested me."
"Really? Maybe i could teach you something!"
"That would be great!"
"How does next tuesday sound at 6?"
"Perfect, just like you."
Just then i felt a wave of attraction towards him. It was weird but it went away as soon as i saw Jolan come in and spoiled the flirt fest.
